On Saturday Notts travel to Shrewsbury for a pre season friendly. How many links can we find between the two clubs, players, managers etc. Here’s one to start Arthur Mann he played for Notts between 1972-1979 making 253 appearances and scoring 21 goals, in 1979 he moved to Shrewsbury and made 8 appearances scoring 1 goal. How many more can we find?

On Saturday 22nd July Notts County travel to Boston to take on the Pilgrims. How many players, managers it coaches etc., can we name that are linked to both clubs? I’ll start off with two former Notts players who became managers with Boston. Arthur Mann managed Boston between 1984-1986 and he was succeeded by another former Notts player RayO’Brien who managed them between 1986-1987.

On Tuesday 18th July Notts travel to Telford for a friendly match with AFC Telford. How many players, coaches, managers etc., can we name that have links with both clubs? I’ll start you off with Spencer Weir-Davis who played for Notts between 2007 and 2009 making 40 appearances scoring 3 goals. Over to you how many more can we name?

On Saturday 15th July Notts will take on Nottingham For*st in a pre season friendly, kick off 1pm. Over the years there have been lots of players, coaches, managers etc., who have ventured from our neighbours crossing the Trent to Notts County. I’ll start you off with a player from the 60’s and 70’s Bill Brindley became a firm favourite at Notts after making the move making 250 appearances and named as player of the season in 1975, he also played for Gillingham and non league sides Grantham, Burton and Alfreton before managing Meadows Albion, Heanor, Ilkeston and Arnold. How many more links can we find?

On Saturday 9th July Notts are playing Stoke City at Meadow Lane. Stoke have had many famous players over the years but how many players, managers or coaches can we name that have links with Notts County? Heres one to start you off, Dave Kevan played for Notts 1986 to 1990 making 89 appearances and scoring 3 goals, he also spent a spell as caretaker manager 2009-2010. How many more can we name? Over to you.

@Chris has asked me to resurrect this feature again, so I will do this for every game Notts play. On Tuesday 4th July, Notts start their pre season friendlies with a trip to play Nuneaton Borough. It may be quite tough to find a link but the idea is to try and think of as many players/managers/ coaches etc. that have played for both clubs (tea ladies don’t count) I’ll start you off with Duane Darby played for Notts 1998-2000 and Nuneaton Borough 2006-2007. Ok over to you who else has a MAGnet link to both clubs?

I've just received a letter from Transport for London.... Just hope we go up automatically in future.... Apparently my motor will be charged £12:50 to get to Wembley... I take it 1000s of us supporters have received the same letter

Does anyone know what finances Notts will get after our return to the EFL..??.... I think we get monies from the PL and TV but does anyone know what will those amount too????

After watching yesterday's game I was amazed at the power pace and skill of all the players........ Hate to say it...... But i reckon we have a long way to go before we will be able to match that..... I hope LW has a plan to get us to that level....... Sooner rather than later....
