  2. Well ladies and gentlemen, it's squeaky bum time. Notts and Wrexham have identical win, draws and losses. Wrexham are ahead on goal difference. + 20 to + 18. Notts beat Wrexham 1-0 at Meadow Lane earlier in the season. Both teams have 3 games left. Both are on unbeaten runs and both know that a win here will put them 4 points ahead of 8th place with 2 games to go. Wrexham had a magnificent 3-2 win at Boreham Wood. They were 2-1 down in the 87th minute and their playoff hopes were in real danger. 3 minutes later they had won 3-2 and their playoff hopes had received a massive boost. That will give them momentum and confidence. Notts are coming in after a 2-2 draw with Broml…

Slocombe 8 Confident in dealing with the inevitable high balls Brindley 6 Never comfortable in defence but played positionally well to limit space Ellis 8 Stood up to be counted, one great block Chicksen 5 Sloppy passing again played us into trouble. DKE 6.5 Effort but final ball quality lacking Miller 6.5 Good movement down the left flank Doyle 7 Cool head, cool coach JOB 6.5 Good running Reeves 8 a worthy strike to win any game RR 7.5 Occupies defenders by being further up, allows the room for our midfield trio to move into that space. Taken off as a precaution on a yellow Wootton 7 Well marshalled by their defence

  5. Bromley are a point behind us with a game more played. They really can't afford to lose tomorrow. That could play into Notts's hands. Bromley are on a 3 match unbeaten streak. It's going to be a tough game for sure but Notts are in fine form so it should be a home win. 3-1 to Notts for me.

  6. Notts 1 up inside 10 minutes. Jim O Brien. Notts have started very well.

Slocombe 7 Calm and assured. Always great positioning DKE 7 Hard working as usual Rawlinson 6 Defensivly sound Ellis 6.5 Reads the game so well, good positioning Chicksen 6 Some passing played team mates into trouble. Defensively did OK Miller 7 A wing back that can beat his man . Doyle 7 "Pirlo" passing especially for the first Reeves 6 One major error went unpunished. Kept the midfield ticking JOB 9 Certainly proved "legs" have not gone. Read the game well and got into those positions to do the damage RR 8.5 Forward position helped his game and that of the team. Cool finish for the 4th Wootton 8 one hundred per cent eff…

Slocombe - 7 - We miss him everytime he's injured. Excellent shot stopping and command of his area. DKE - 4.5 - Love the blood and thunder of DKE, but it's daft to make that challenge in the situation. Rawlinson - 5.5 - First goal isn't his fault as he is isolated against the fastest man on the pitch. Still looks uncomfortable on the right of the back 3. Ellis - 6 - Collectively need to defend their 2nd better. Won his fare share in the air and gets the penno. Chicksen - 6 - His good touch and ability to pass help as part of this back 3. Miller - 6 - He was actually pretty decent going forward. Typically naiive at the back to get the yellow. Doyle -…

Steele 5 Rawlinson 5 More confortable in a back 4. One horrendous loss of possession could have cost a goal Ellis 5 More comfortable on the ball Turner 3 Thank you and goodnight. A mistake in possession waiting to happen Brindley 5 better 1st half than 2nd Barnett 4 Loses concentration at the back Enzio 4.5 For all his talent, just mentally not up for the fight. One scuffed shot in a promising position Ruben 6 Great free kick over the wall. Only player capable of ghosting by his man Reeves 4 Swuare ball square ball repeat... Doyle 4 legs have gone and so has his influence on the game Wootton 5 Holds up the ball, yet anothe…

  16. Eastleigh came to ML 2 games ago, hardly broke a sweat, and left with the 3 points. That was one of the poorest performances by Notts this season. There was signs of improvement last Saturday, ruined by the conceding of a late goal against 10 men which cost us 2 points. Eastleigh are level on points with us but we have 2 games in hand. A win for Notts would be a big blow to Eastleigh's playoff hopes. I expect this will be a cagey affair but I have a feeling that Notts will sneak it. 2-1 to Notts for me.

  17. Started by Super_Danny_Allsopp,

Steele - 3.5 - Should be saving the second. Comes right across him at distance. DKE - 5 - OK enough. Rawlinson - 4 - Only mistake of the game really, and unfortunately his keeper couldn't bail him out. Bit unlucky. Ellis - 4 - Bit of a salmon at times defending balls into the box. Turner - 3 - Accident waiting to happen. Lets Griffiths mark one of their tallest players and stands there with his arm in the air. Donkey. Chicksen - 5 - he was OK. Reeves - 2 - Thought he played well first half. Reverted to type in the second. ******* terrible. Doyle - 7 - Player. Griffiths - 5 - Goal not his fault. There's 3 of them that palm that tall Eastleigh player onto…

  21. Slocombe 6 Exposed for the goal conceded, one great save to stop it being 0-2 DKE 5 Not as influential as once was, but then again it maybe the wing back system Rawlinson 4 Underperforming now is of real concern. Never comfortable in a back 3 which is asked to pass Turner 3 Took a yellow for the team, or more precisely for himself, for being so utterly...... Lacey 6 At least looks comfortable in defending and passing Chicksen 4 Dead ball delivery hopeless Reeves 4 Too deep about nothing Griffiths 4.5 OK ish, did some nice things but far too few in the big scheme of things to make a positive contribution Knight 4 There is some spark …

  22. Started by ARLukomski,

Slocombe 6 - Cracking save to deny Hudlin. Some of his late kicks gave me the scares Rawlinson 5 - Poor decision making. Lost his man for one of the goals Ellis 6 - Good distribution. Not much else Lacey 5 - Like Rawlo, poor decision making and erratic passing Kelly-Evans 5 - One good run forward in the first half. For all this "HE'S THE SAVIOUR" stuff, his forward outlet has been awful Reeves 6 - Started well but his impact on the game diminished. Tries to do too much Griffiths 7 - Controlled the play and put himself about a lot, trying to get things going. Only one of two who bothered Chicksen 6 - Got down the line well and linked with…
