Apologies for not doing this for a while what with holiday and illness I’ve been very lax. A bit later than normal but still time to get plenty of links posted. After the dissapointing result at home to Gillingham yesterday, I just want to remind everyone that we are not out of the playoff picture just yet. Yes, we might have dropped out of the playoff places, but I believe we can still be optimistic about Notts making the playoffs. We have 16 games left. If we can win 10 or 11 games of those 16, with a draw or two mixed in, 75 or 76 points could be enough to scrape into 6th or 7th place. We could still lose up to 5 more games & still make it. Stone 6.5 - a couple of decent saves, no chance with the winner. Warner 6 - a mix of good and dodgy moments. Showed promise, he will have easier games than this. Baldwin 8* - plenty of good headers and blocks, held us together at the back. Cameron 6 - did ok, fairly standard game. Nemane 5.5 - decent first half, didn't do a lot in the second. Robertson 7 - got stuck in and used the ball well, looks a useful recruit. Bostock 5.5 - not awful, but nowhere near the player he can be. The next five games for Notts, home and away are going to be very tough & season defining in my opinion. Mansfield: away Gillingham: home Newport: away Wrexham: away Crewe: home I would be very happy if we could take 10 points from these games. 3 wins and a draw with one loss. Am I being too optimistic or could we do it with Stuart now at the helm?

On Saturday we take on Barrow at Meadow Lane in a top of the table clash. How many links can we find between the two clubs? Heres one to start you off, Thierry Audel joined Barrow briefly when he left Notts in 2017. He only played 7 games for them before moving to Welling Utd. How many more links can we find?

On Saturday Notts travel to Grimsby, how many links can we find between the two clubs. My offering is Gary Lund one of my favourite all time players. He started his career at Grimsby and played for them between 1983-1986, he arrived at Notts in 1987 via Lincoln and stayed until 1995 making 248 appearances scoring 62 goals.
