  2. I haven't gone to this one, I decided it would be best to stay at home. I'm really unsure about taking Jake to their ground, although I've never had any issues from Stag fans (other than mouthing off) - I don't want Jake to witness any muppets. The friendly should be okay though, I don't expect Mansfield to play dirty or anything. I just hope fans see more from the starting 11 chosen, I also hope to see 'Kyle Dixon' start. After his performance at Arnold Town, it would be the ideal chance to show us fans how well he can play as a right back. It will be also interesting to see if Haynes starts? I don't know if he's carrying a knock or what but the game should make things…

  7. Notts County continue their Continental Cup campaign as they host Bristol Academy Women on Sunday. Last year's WSL runners up are the second visitors to Meadow Lane in a week after the Lady Pies overcame WSL2 side Aston Villa by five goals on Wednesday. They don't find themselves top of group 3 in the Continental Cup though, as Sunday's opponents Bristol put nine goals past Oxford United. This won't deter the hosts though, who still remain unbeaten this season, with four wins and a draw from their first five games, including progressing to the FA Women's Cup Final. Bristol, however, have lost three of their five games so far this season, including two consecutive loss…

Notts come into the game unbeaten, after three wins and a draw that have seen them top the league and progress through to the semi final of the FA Women’s Cup. Goals from Captain Sophie Bradley and striker Jess Clarke sealed County’s place in the semis, with a 2-0 victory over Portsmouth Ladies last time out. In contrast, Aston Villa are still looking for their first victory, after three losses and a draw in their opening four games, including crashing out of the FAW Cup to Doncaster Rovers Belles. Th…

  12. Portsmouth FCL vs Notts County LFC Notts County travel south to face Portsmouth Ladies as both sides battle it out in the quarter final of the FA Women's Cup. With the lucrative prize of a place in the semi final beckoning, both teams will be keen to come out with a victory, with the winner facing the victor of the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton. Portsmouth are the only team left in the competition to not play in either the Women’s Super League 1 or 2 and Notts will go into the game clear favourites, as they sit top of the tree in England, currently leading WSL1. Notts County progressed through to the quarter final with victory over Southern …

  18. Everton LFC vs Notts County LFC Notts County Ladies make their first away trip of the season, as they travel to Merseyside to face Everton Ladies. After two successive home games, which saw the Lady Pies progress to the quarter final of the FA Women’s Cup, and open their league campaign with a draw, County will be looking to gain their first three points of the season. Everton Ladies are also looking for their first three points, with their first home game of the season, after both sides drew a blank when they visited Birmingham on Wednesday. Everton are also through to the quarter final of the FAW Cup, after a 3-1 victory at Cardiff in the 5th round.

  20. Notts County LFC vs Arsenal LFC Notts County will enter the game on a high, having emerged victorious from their first competitive game, progressing to the 6th round of the FA Women’s Cup, with a 2-1 victory over Coventry City Ladies. Arsenal progressed through to the sixth round themselves, with victory over Gillingham. However the Gunners, unlike County, have also tasted defeat so far this season, Birmingham City coming out on top over two legs in the Champions League quarter final. Dunia Susi will be helping to add to her two goals she netted against Coventry, whilst every other player will be keen to open their account for the Lady Pies, Jess Clarke and El…
