Seems we have a bit of fight about us. We fought a fight. Ref seems a prat Sheehan's goal sounded good. we also had lots of chances if we just stuck out a foot;. Then we lose to a wonder goal, Bart is distraught. Oh well, your thoughts?

I don't really expect anything from the game, however I do hope we can at least draw. I think this will be a bigger test than Shaun Derry knows, he needs to motivate the players into starting the game as they did against Peterborough. You can never write us off or know what to expect really, it's games like this we tend to see ourselves surprised! Either for good reasons or for one's we would rather forget. Preston are no fools though, I expect them to start lively. Two games now into the 'view of our upcoming games'. Preston have ex Forest striker Joe Garner, along with some other useful players. I hope we avoid dropping JCR, he needs to play and their fans need to get…

First thing I'm going to type here, I do not want to see a repeat of our away game against them. I'll only accept if we start as we ended that game, 25+ minutes of domination but this time for the majority of the game. It would be nice to see the flag in the Kop! I loved that at Peterborough and was it Bristol City last? @sadlad how many Walsall fans do you see coming? It should be a lively encounter, I like the type of football our opponents play but I think under Derry they will find us more of a match than the last time we played them. Very unlucky not to come back with 3 points but I won't dwell on past games! Hopefully our resident saddler will tell us all about…

Interesting game, although one I cannot afford to attend. £28 seems quite the rip off (along with travel), they obviously felt that we would take more than some other clubs with us being local but will the price effect the good following we have been seeing? Things aren't going all that well for the Posh, so there's something for us to gain by trying to go at them for the points. Although yesterday they beat Tranmere 3-0, regardless it should be a good game and we have something to protect now. It will be important for us to at least come a way with a point but not a major set back if we don't. With the following fixtures for us being, Walsall (H), Preston (A), Coventr…

We're now 3 games into PoN's view of our upcoming games. It's also the game I selected as the key one, although all games are as important - I don't think we will have many bigger than this one. Timing wise, it's pretty ideal. Sheffield United are only four points ahead of us but with a game in hand. None the less it's the ideal with the home advantage and our recent form. We need to get something out of this game, a draw would be great but a win! We will require a top performance. Sheffield United have drawn 3 of their last six games - losing 1 and winning 2. They're a side which are quite flat but rather direct, although they're a dangerous side, they struggle to get …

We're now two games into the 5 games I wrote about - View of our upcoming games. This is one I have low expectations and I think even lower after our performance against Crawley, It's important we use the home advantage and at least try. Bradford aren't doing as well at the moment, however they've got a talented bunch of lads. Well's will no doubt be one of their dangermen - He's the type of forward I think many of our fans wished we had. Yet, they don't lack creativity and their midfield is perhaps the strongest aspects of their team. Notts will need to keep the ball down, play patiently but more direct. I don't want to watch us create space, just to spread the ball ou…

I haven't been to Crawley before, so this will be a new ground for me. I'm pretty much looking forward to it, though I am unsure about what to expect at the final whistle. I believe we can win them, though this depends on many things - one of which being the referee. Yes we can't keep blaming them, yet it's hard not to. Crawley are on the slide, they can play good football but with John Gregory as their manager who knows what to expect. They have shown they can do well, they beat the league leaders but lost to MK Dons yesterday. Liddle's absence will see Fotheringham or Labadie start, for once I wished we tried either having more support from the advanced midfielders or…

Port Vale are doing better than I thought they would, their owner does a lot of interacting with the fan base and the football league show did a section on him earlier in the year - I can remember being bemused by the 'refreshing' to see comments the show made. Other clubs have already done such, yet it was nice to see. Apart from Lee Hughes (who I don't want to see play or score), I don't know enough about them. I actually can't name another Vale player, which isn't normal. We will be without Gary Liddle, yet Ball is reportedly okay to play. Who do we slot into midfield with 'Every Liddle Helps' absence? I think Fotheringham did okay, although he did a few things whic…

Two teams who would no doubt believe they'd have done better so far this season, Notts have some momentum and the home advantage (get behind them magpies!). Bristol City have the 'new' manager and have yet to really impress them, Steve's first game came in the F.A Cup against Tamworth and they wasn't all that impressive - 2-1 the result but anyone who watched the game would have seen very good chances fell to Tamworth who was somewhat lacking in the final third. Back to back wins, I'm chuffed to be typing this! Can we make it a third win in a row? Well, Bristol City are dangerous going forward and can boss the game. We on the other hand have the tools to counter them, t…

So Notts travel to Colchester tomorrow in the hope that we can start a bit of a run going after last Saturday's welcome win. This in my opinion is definitely a match we can win and at least should be looking at getting a point. I am going for a 1-0 win. What are other thoughts?

Hello Guys, Ian here(Millers fan), just some thoughts on League One's game of the day this coming Saturday, well, the only one....lol. From reports I read & heard, Notts turned in a much improved display & were unlucky to lose against Brentford last weekend. At the same time, we were in the process of murdering the Gills 4-1 at NYS. Gillingham couldn't really have complained if it'd been 7 or 8-1, such was our domination of the game. If Notts can maintain the calibre of performance this Saturday v the Gills, surely the three points are there for the taking, & narrowing the gap at the bottom. I'm predicting a 3-1 win for Notts, so good luck Pies.....
