Looking forward to todays game against Walsall. Caretaker manager Chris Kiwomya is eagar to get his first win under his belt today as the team are improving as the matches progress, so it looks promising. Walsall are on good form so will also play well but Chris Kiwomya believes we can still get through this game with 3 points. Walsall will want to keep their form and progress up the table, but we also want to get back on track to get into the play-offs. Neal Bishop is back in the game today so the fans will be happier again and the players moral could also be higher.

I heard that we had a practice match with Peterborough and lost 5-0 Anyone got any details, any gossip on trialists etc?

  3. Started by super_ram,

A week ago Notts were looking to gain 3 points away to bottom club Hartlepool. They lost and subsequently Keith Curle was dismissed but the bad run continued against Stevenage. All this makes Saturdays match vital to kick start your season.A win would go a long way to restoring fans faith,a draw would also be acceptable, another defeat doesn't bear thinking about.I personally think you are due a slice of good luck and if the stand in manager can get the team concentrating right from the kick off and give the forwards some 'shooting boots' think you could sneak a win.

  4. Started by liampie,

with keith curles departure this will be an interesting one. it's never anything different tho! i have a good feel about this so hope we play well

  5. Started by Chris,

This will be an interesting game despite some expectations as I don't see this one being all that easy. Hartlepool might be at the bottom of the league but I expect them to be very much up for this one. I've been communicating with some of their fans who aren't looking forward to the game but as I said on one of their fan sites "Our sides might not be setting the world alight with performances but football is about clashes like ours and you never know you could end up taking all 3 points. It might not be glamorous game but disappointment is part of the footballing package. I remain upbeat about the game" It's all about looking forward to clashes like this and for me it's …

current forecast doesnt seem good but hopefully it will go ahead. notts need to try to show character now which on a good day would see us take all 3 points. i wouldnt say this is a easy game

  7. Started by super_ram,

It would be very nice to see Notts continue their very impressive away form today and I don't see any reason why they can't.Notts have shown they can come back and do well after early set backs as against the blades. They also showed how to keep a lead(which should have been greater)against Oldham.Of course the run will end sooner or later but not today I feel.1-0 to Maggies. As for the Rams I'm hoping home advantage will see us through to the next round of the cup.Looking forward to watching Oldham v Liverpool tomorrow.

  8. Weather permitting Notts will be taking on Oldham who are struggling to get results, their performances last season in my opinion was pretty impressive and they have some key players. Jose Baxter poses a threat to us, which would one player whom I have marked but not too tightly because they have some very clever players. (The game against the dark side would suggest this) I remain optimistic, I certainly believe we can get the better of Oldham. Very much looking ahead of this game, it's going to make a positive change for me and I hope to see us play the game in the way we all know we can. Good following attacking football, which if done right will mean an entertaining…

3rd game of the season against Pompey, and easily the most important I'd say. We really need to win this one, anything less would be a bad result. Anyone else going? Me and the other Weymouth Magpies will be there, COYP

A tough start to 2013 for Notts. I'm unsure about MK Dons, They can be very hit and miss but no doubt it will be a challenge. I really hope we start the new year with a bang, as a good run could see us laugh about what happened with regards to our home form. I notice still, comments about Curle needing to go if we don't win. I think it would be harsh, I very much hope we stand by him. Will post my starting line up tomorrow, with a brave prediction of the score. Happy New Year! COYP!!

Stevenage vs Notts County Npower League One Venue: Lamex Stadium Date: Saturday, 29 December Kick-off: 15:00 Coverage: BBC Sport website, BBC Radio 5 live, BBC local radio, Final Score & highlights on The Football League Show Stevenage boss Gary Smith is likely to make changes as he searches for only a second victory in seven games. Midfielder Filipe Morais returned from an ankle injury in the Boxing Day defeat by Coventry and is expected to keep his starting place. Dean Leacock (hamstring) and Alan Sheehan (calf) are unlikely to be fit for Notts County. Jordan Stewart (hamstring) and Tom Williams (thigh) are ruled out, as is the suspended Damion Stewart. …

  14. Dean Leacock will be a miss for us, which I notice BBC mention Bart isn't unable to start. If he's included I see no missing links, although it should be an easier game for Mitchell if he is selected to play. I hear we're taking a pretty reasonable following considering it's a Wednesday and of course boxing day but I've missed football especially since the last game was called off. I hope we can take make the most of the chances we get + see a much better performance, I don't see any reason why we can play our game. No score prediction from me.

  15. Keith Curles looking for a Gunners reaction, I'm hoping this is the time we bounce back. I hope Mitchell doesn't take the negativity on board, especially how he appears to of received since our fa cup exit. (one reason why I'd of chosen Pilks) but I hope he does tomorrow. If we play like we did in the second half he'll have a much easier game. No guesses of the score from me.

  18. The winners will be rewarded with an incredible trip to... Aldershot Town. Not a great draw but a wonderful chance to progress to round 4 and bring in some welcome prize money. Jamal Campbell Ryce and lee Hughes will be available again after surving their suspensions while alan Judge will be unavailable though suspension for accumilating 5 bookings. COME ON YOU PIES

  19. Having spent time on a Yeovil Town Fan Site and speaking to various fans on other online communities, I feel that this is a game that they would be happy to draw with. Some, believe that they can stop our away form record and seem to have a desire to see their team achieve that. I feel it will be an hard game for us both but one that we should be able to overcome any difficulties. Some fans voiced concerns about not being able to score, so if we attack and get ourselves infront with a nice margin hopefully that would stop them from playing. I am also interested to see what James makes of the game, as I know he intended to go. COYP!!

  20. Personally one of my favourite points in football, as the league starts to take formation and the start of the FA Cup. We seem to be viewed as a team Rotherham much like they did when we was in league two, I have also read interesting comments on twitter and the odd general football forum regarding some of our players they plan to direct taunts too. This is a game we shouldn't let out of grasp, it's a side I see us winning fairly easily on paper but we know this competition turns boys into men. (to speak) In Rotherham's case a poor, unless side into possibly one who can knock it about at least against us. I will be listening as usual to the match on the radio, I'm opti…

  21. Started by weymouthPIE,

Huge game tommorow at Meadow Lane. Part of me isn't particularly confident - Notts are our sluggish home form versus Swindon with their brilliant away form. But another part of me is confident we'll get a much needed home win and put in a brilliant performance. Lets hope thats the case. I'll be at Weymouth v Leamington but will be checking the score regularly. COYP!!

  22. Started by Chris,

I'm hoping we can break our recent form which least nobody can say we aren't consistent. This is really a game I'd like to us win, as I don't like the comment I've been reading in the media but not only because of this, I feel Preston is exactly the type of opposition we need to be beating. Having said that, I don't really rate them very highly. No jinxing but I feel it's going to be a very tight game, I think we'll win 1 - 0. Changes are it's going to be pretty eventful. I think we'll take around 300 odd fans. (Hopefully they'll chant and cheer throughout the match) I'll be glued to the radio, listening to uncle colin and deano. What does everyone else think?

  23. Started by william1984,

What do people think result will be lets hope for another away win. im thinking 2 - 1

  24. Started by Chris,

It's a shame I couldn't make this one, although I did walk by the ground when Bishop scored and the sound was very loud. (Made me wished I was inside the ground) I noticed this iffy looking Notts fan watching from the main gates too, which was very weird because he asked me what I was doing outside. It sounded like it was a much better game, I'm going on comments I've heard of course. 1 - 1 Not that disappointing for me, hopefully a starting point for us to build on some good form at home.

  25. Started by weymouthPIE,

Fingers crossed for another 3 points on the road tonight. Difficult game against another side with new manager syndrome but I think we'll get the right result. Predictions? I'll say 3-2 Notts
