  1. Martin Allen will no doubt be looking forward to this game which will make it very interesting. We're on a very good run, so I'm hoping it will continue by having a good result today. MK are being touted for promotion, though I think this is the type of game we're we should come out strong. I heard the line up at super rams, which sounding very interesting. I think Uncle Colin mentioned that 4 fringe players was starting and I see we're 1 - 0 up now. Karl as finally scored!! I hope it gives him a good push to get a few more.

  4. Started by Chris,

Match Report We seemed on top pretty much most of what I've seen, sadly it's only what's been shown on tv via various media. I'm not sure on the penalty as it looked quite soft, what was it for pushing? Either way kasper seemed to be on top form and everyone else pushed for the result. ~Joe

  5. Started by Chris,

I'm happy to say I've finally managed to attend a game and work couldn't get in my way. First half we was really good right up to the goal they scored, we just didn't defend!!! It was annoying to watch the players drop and allow Torquay and poor old hughes having to have a bash at defending, it was just so disappointing that I'm unable to say how bad it was. It was like watching forest!! Match Report ~Joe

  6. Notts was beaten by Bradford in penalties 3 goals to 2. I can't say that overly bothered, as I'm glad some of our bigger names didn't get wasted playing. (injuries which could be saved for league) but a good outing no doubt for those who went, facey and westcarr our scorers. Match Report ~Joe

  7. Started by Chris,

News Report Sadly the football league show only shown the goal (well taken) and the equalizer which appeared to be offside to me. Hammond looked to be past our last defender, swing back as the ball came across and he managed to latch on. If he was or not I cannot say and until we get more fans on here, I doubt I'll ever know. ~Joe

  8. Started by Chris,

Luke Rodgers bagged himself his first goal in tonight game and also his first hattrick for county. I was impressed with luke during the pre-season friendlies and I'm also a strong believer that if a player gives 100% sooner or later there day will come and tonight it was lukes. BBC Match Report YOUPIES! ~Joe

  9. Started by Chris,

I was so chuffed when I received the final score in text by cheeky, I was hoping that we'd come back and surprise, surprise we shown excellent quality and no need for sol. Also I loved Micky Adams comment about "lying over and being tickled" + putting his players on the transfer market. ~Joe

  10. Started by Chris,

I managed to watch the live text on the magpie player, couldn't help but feel it was a one sided game as they appeared to be having a lot of shots and most of the possession. It's a shame the highlights wasn't up to much cop on the "football league show" would of been nice to see if we did give them any sort of game. ~Joe

  11. Started by Chris,

Good result to sum the game up but I can't help but feel we should be doing better in other games. I'm not expecting us to walk the league or win every game for that matter. We just appear to storm games, scrape a win or a draw and not bother turning up at all. We should be more stronger as a team and for whatever reason I hope we try to get a bit more consistent. ~Joe

  12. Started by Chris,

Close ending, it's always hard playing local derby matches and burton are equal to the points. It's a shame we didn't manage to secure the points, yet a draw isn't all that bad. ~Joe Ps. I'm a little late with updates here after just returning from my holiday and it's time to start the launch of this place.

Barnet 1 v 0 Notts County Very unlucky that the only goal went in within the 90th minute, I haven't yet seen the highlights but I've heard we played okay and kasper went mental with conceding the goal. LOL ~Joe

  14. Started by Chris,

So last night many of our fans and players was dealt a major wake up call. I had been listening to the match on the radio, I can't believe we did try to counter chesterfields tactics but I do have to give them credit they played. Two pens in 3 minutes! that's all we lost by had our defense been stronger and less pressure felt, well we might of been lucky. Well played chesterfield. ~Joey

  15. Started by Harrys_Mummy,

WHISTLES BLOWN! Sounded like a blooming good match for the magpies! Kasper Schmeichel didn't play, but was in the stand with Peter Trembling and Sven-Goran Eriksson. With goals scored by Ravenhill (13), Hunt (45), Wright (o.g 50) and Westcarr (90). All in all the promising start to the season continues!

I hear it was good game for us. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_cup/8188165.stm Hit the post twice, I'm not down though. I just wished we could of made it to the second round because those jealous fans will be loving this. Oh well we can focus more on promotion until the fa cup comes! ~Joey

  17. Started by Chris,

Although I didn't go to the game, I was really impressed by the highlights I caught on the new "The Football League Show". It's a shame we didn't see more than just the goals but I hope to see a live game at some point this season. (provided it's on my off day, unlikely) For those who went what did you make of the game? All opinions, comments welcomed.. ~Joey
