  1. Started by Chris,

Hopefully nobody minds, here's some with the group I usually travel with during away games. Good laugh! Always good to make sure days can be made better! I actually normally don't drink, though yesterday I was glad I did.. hehe

I friend of mine who knows I am a big Notts fan sent me this photograph he took a few years ago, so I thought it would be a nice signature photo for my posts. It is actually taken in 2004 although it looks as if it should be in the 60s.

Yesterday I was surprised when I checked my messages and noticed a young fan had sent me this. Really welcomed submission - One in which I really like. Thoughts?

I've really missed playing around with Photoshop, here's some player graphics that I have done. My plans to do the whole squad - although after I did McGregor's, I struggled with time to do any more and later forgot. I decided to use things like "County's ......" Just to add a little more to it. I believe the times teams have broken away from our defense or had a crack at goal - Bart is our 'Last Ditch Hero'.. Let me know what you think and who I should do next! Cheers

This photo covers five members... This is Tony, George and then we have Julie also with her family. Here we have WeymouthPie who featured in #themag! I'm actively seeking further additions - I hope those above don't mind, I thought this was pretty cool.

You had a great first season and the supporters truly love you. #1Your second Magpies' season has started. What do you expect from this season? "I want to still improve on my game and as a team. We want to be competitive. I know we've had a hard start of the season, but, you know, the season is long. We want to start our season in the next game against Walsall and hopefully we gonna win that game and move forwards". Do you think the team is stronger? And w…

I'm trying to be creative on PoN's social streams, so when I'm bored or have a little free time I plan to do more like this. It didn't do that bad on Facebook and was shared once on Twitter (not counting my own retweet)

I was quite proud of this, I can recall being nervous about handing them out and even more so when news was going around that Lee Hughes would be leaving. I started promoting the site a few weeks earlier and they didn't get a great reception, I found that holding them out and asking people to take one to have a read on the way home or inside the match worked well. I was delighted one night, as Jake and Ellie actually encouraged me to do it when I wasn't really keen on the idea. It was on the back of The Millers defeat and I thought it would generate hassle, as some fans had been very unfriendly prior but that's just people. We cleared the whole lot, Jake and Ellie h…

I've uploaded the photos from all the football grounds I visited in Northern Ireland. As I said, I visited 8 but only managed to get into 5. Here's the first album, from The Ballymena Showgrounds - home to Ballymena United. Feel free to flick through http://prideofnottingham.co.uk/community/gallery/album/17-/ Second is the Showgrounds, home of Coleraine FC: http://prideofnottingham.co.uk/community/gallery/album/19-/ Next is Seaview - Crusaders FC. Interestingly this ground has the only artificial pitch in the whole of Northern Ireland: http://prideofnottingham.co.uk/community/gallery/album/18-/ The Oval - Glentoran FC. I REALLY liked this grou…

So, I can't really say I volunteered but on the 14th of next month. I will be a Marshall for the J&J to Derby and back fundraiser, today I were shown the route and surrounding area. It's quite exciting, yet I wished I was able to take part. I was a little disappointed originally, as I wanted to help. I was advised not to take part, I actually thought I might be up for the challenge but my physio (probably thought I was nuts) and firmly told me I shouldn't. Anyway, I ended up looking at the statue at Pride Park and a little of the stadium. And I think to myself - what am I doing here?!?! No seriously, It's amazing. I like the stadium but I have to say, that I like T…

I brought this picture off of EBay of the 1894 Notts County side which won the FA Cup. Something else to go up on my bedroom wall, along with many other Notts County related pictures I remember reading in a match programme from our division 3 play-off semi final against Bolton in Colin Slaters column a bit about Jimmy Logan. Jimmy became the first player ever to score a hat-trick in an FA Cup final as Notts beat Bolton 4-1 to become the first side from outside the top division to win the Cup. We brought Jimmy from Aston Villa for £15! A lot of money back then but today that sounds crazy! The story of Jimmy Logan is quite tragic really. After lhis ti…

  18. @super_ram might be interested in this. It was taken in 1957 when sheep were allowed to graze the pitch to keep it in trim. Then they decided to employ a groundsman. Anyone else have a good caption? Picture courtesy of David McVay's book Notts County Football Club.

Black & White fanzine issue 5 will be out I believe on the final day of the season at home to Coventry. This will be the biggest publication yet, and includes an exclusive interview with a certain Lee Hughes! Pre-orders are now being taken here - http://blackandwhitezine.bigcartel.com/product/issue-5. This link also tells you just some of what's included in issue 5

Does anyone remember this scoreboard. There used to be a man in there with lots of numbers and you had to look in the programme to see which matches A, B, C etc were. At half time he put numbers in the corresponding windows to show the scores up and down the country. He always used to tease us when putting up the Fword score, if he had a 3 in his hand he would go to put in one side or the other and then back again, so we didn't know whether they had scored 3 or had 3 scored against them. Obviously if they were losing a big cheer would go up or groan if winning. Always used to make me laugh.

My phone kept beeping (it's running out of power) I hear several text alert tones, wondering why I were getting texts as normally I don't. I read the first message, it says 'You need to buy the Evening Post'. I didn't sink in LOL Really, amazing and many thanks to @Dan

It's not something I loosely say, if I do say something I mean it. Since Pride of Nottingham's been going I'm often enough overwhelmed by the great things which have been achieved, the people I meet and I am honestly blessed. It means a great deal to me, so with this said. WHAT A PRIVILEGE!! I'm delighted and my little man (Jake), well he's full of confidence. He made so many friends, I'm proud of him!! I think ^ this shows how much it meant to me. (Jake's curious as to what is going on/a little nervous) Thank you Giorgio and of course all the @Italian Magpies !!
