3 games into the Ruckrunde (second half of the season) and three defeats. At least the goats were curried again on Sunday. Well played SC Paderborn 07. A miserable journey home for 48000 Geissboecke, I hope it was raining...

Spanish side Racing Santander's players have walked off the pitch refusing to play their Copa Del Ray quarter final against Real Sociadad in a protest over 4 months of unpaid wages. The ref blew for kick off but the Santander players just gathered in the centre circle. The ref asked if they were going to play, they said no, so the game was abandoned. Crazy scenes!

Put on the TV tonight to watch Gladbach vs. Bayern at Borussia-Park 7.30 KO our time. Gladbach 8 wins and 1 draw at home this season face the season-long unbeaten Bayern without Schweinsteiger and Martinez (and possibly Ribery). Keep an eye on Borussia's attacking quartet of Kruse, Hermann, Arango and Rafael, and in defensive midfield Granit Xhaka who had more touches of the ball than anyother player in the Bundesliga in the first half of the season. FCB's record in Moenchengladbach is not very good over the years, so here's hoping for another Borussia victory.. All together now (to the tune of Yellow Submarine): Zieht den Bayern die Lederhosen aus, Lederhosen aus…

Where's all this money come from for PSG? I read earlier that a certain Swedish player wants Messi to sign for them, I about fell out of my chair with laughter. I can't see him leaving Barcelona! However, being slightly bored today. I decided to look around to see if any games was being played, I noticed PSG vs Real Madrid. Pretty good game, certainly end to end but PSG are extremely wasteful. Going forward they play some great creative football, although woeful finishing and awareness as prevented them. Real Madrid haven't looked like 'world class' but they have made their chances count, despite missing some sitters and hitting the post/cross bar. Did anyone else what…

I always knew Ronaldo was a pompous idiot, but this just proves it. He may think he is gods gift to football, but does it really take 5 men to massage him? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2531831/Ronaldo-lies-thinks-Spain-gets-massage-FIVE-MAN-team.html

This is a shock transfer, I suppose not so much if you read the reports on how much he's expected to earn but still it proves what today's football is like. Toronto aren't even remotely like Spurs, who have gotten themselves into a shaky situation. On paper they've signed some gems from the fee obtained by selling Gareth Bale but sadly it's too quick, they've also missed the impact of two of their key players this season and one of which is in fact this very man. If this goes ahead (I'm not sure if it as yet)... They've got themselves a cracking player, who should score for fun over in the states. Worst case scenario is, he get's injured and ends up like Joe Cole - Stil…

Who do you guys reckon will win this year? Could this be Man City's year or could Chelsea sweat their way through again?

1-0 Bayern so far. Hart with another clanger. Fantastic shot from Riberya - but Hart should be stopping that at his near post. Speiss for England! Good game though, so far anyway.

Here are the groups for Spurs, Wigan, & Swansea Group K Spurs Anji (Sold Willian and Eto to Chelsea) (Russian) Sheriff (Moldova) Tromso (Norway) Spurs will stroll through this group. Anja have sold all their best players. Tromso are only in it cause Besiktas got thrown out for match fixing. Sheriff will be tough away but cannon fodder at home. Group A Swansea Valencia Kuban (Russian) St Gallen (Swiss) Swansea have a good chance of advancing. Valencia should win the group. Kuban are a bit of an unknown quantity. They are the biggest threat to Swansea. St Gallen did beat Spartak Moscow to qualify so they could be …

Hi everybody, I'm a true Juve fan and Notts County lover. I would ask you if you know why Juventus says to have 31 titles, when the Italian League says 29. I think most of the people will say 32 for the friendship, but I want to know if somebody really know the facts from 2006 FORZA JUVE!

Should be a very interesting match tonight, Bayern Munich v Borrussia Dortmund. Surely Bayern won't bottle it in the final again? For me these two have been the best two sides all the way through the tournament and deserve to be in the final. Could see this going all the way, although if it goes to penalties we could be here all night with both sides being German! Anyone else watching tonight?

I loosely followed the Juventus game today, though being distracted it was more in the background. Impressive! Juve could have gone 2-0 up nearly straight after Vidal scored from the pen, I missed his booking but I assume it's due to celebrating. 31 Serie A Titlte Wins, congrats to all Juve supporters and of course all the Italian Magpies! Those of a nervous disposition, please look away. LOL Clearly means a lot to the Juve players also! If only the 31 Shield thing could be moved slightly LOL

Anyone catch the game? I managed to sit down and watch this one, FC Basel surprised Chelsea and scored a pretty well created goal. Torres and Moses made it 2-1 and unluckily 7 minutes later they considered another. Not many would have given FC Basel much thought, which Chelsea respectfully should easily have won. 5-2 overall, Chelsea book themselves in the final. Rafa might end the season smiling! I think Jose might have the last laugh!!

Just finished watching Celtic v Juventus while listening to Hull v Rams on the radio.I enjoyed the match on tv.I thought Juve were deserved winners after getting the early first goal although things may have turned out differently had Celtic managed to score before Juve got their second.Overall I felt Juventus still had more 'left in the tank' and were playing well within themselves but had they not scored so early or if Celtic had equalised early it could have affected the way both teams played and possibly the result.

I loosely watched, I listened to our game. (though being honest I wished I switched off the magpie player) The game seem pretty good and our Italian brothers played very well. Direct attacking football, which had sparks of brilliance, it really was a shame I was preoccupied talking to myself on tweeter. None the less, it seems that the result could resort in yet another Chelsea sacking. I personally don't think this would be a good move, as Di Matteo is still learning and in my opinion he's turned somethings around during is short time in charge. Full BBC Article

Barcelona tie down star trio as Lionel Messi commits until 2018 Lionel Messi has agreed a new contract which will keep him at Barcelona until the summer of 2018. The three-time World Player of the Year was previously signed up until 2016 and will be 31 by the time his latest deal expires. And Barca have also tied down one-club stalwarts Xavi and Carles Puyol until the summer of 2016 - effectively for the rest of their careers. Messi is in the running for a fourth successive FIFA Ballon d'Or, due to be awarded on 7 January, and recently set a new mark for goals scored in a calendar year. Gerd Muller's record of 85 goals stood for 40 years before the Argentine'…

Tonight at 20.45 (italian time) Juve will play in Donetsk against Shakhtar. The ucraine team is very strong, so I suppose it's gonna be a really tough game! They are qualified for the next round, Juve is not. For Juve is enough a draw but I really think Shakhtar want the victory. They're a good team. I hope Juve can draw, maybe we can lose and don't be qualified, but as always we'll play to win! Forza Juve!
