UEFA will reportedly allow Manchester United to play in the Europa League next season despite the European governing body's restrictions on multi-club ownership. United and Nice, who are also owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe's company Ineos, have both qualified for the competition next season. Looks like UEFA are going to bend the rules so United can play in the Europa league next season even though Nice qualified first. One of the big six set to win again. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13487753/Man-United-ALLOWED-play-alongside-sister-Nice-seasons-Europa-League-subject-certain-conditions-UEFA-change-multi-ownership-rules.html

Tonight Bayer Leverkusen saved their unbeaten record to draw with Roma 2:2 and win their 2leg semi final 4:2 on aggregate. So they now meet Atalanta in the Europa League final on the 22nd May. They have now gone 49 games unbeaten in a record breaking season.

Dear all, Leading up to the Euro tournament in June this year, I am conducting some research looking at fans’ views towards the role of football in response to military conflict. For those interested in this topic, I have created a short survey that should not take up too much of your time: https://doit.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9zZmrJfShOSBDDw Participation is completely voluntary, but I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this topic.

We all remember the great goals but what about the great saves? This save from England great, Gordon Banks, from a Pele header during the Brazil v England game at the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, is my favourite all time greatest save.

Rewind to 2010, Johan Elmander scored this delightful goal for Bolton against Wolves. Great balance, footwork and finish. It doesn't get talked about as much as it should. I'll be posting a different goal each day. Feel free to add your own goal of the day. There's bound to be some absolutely beauties to see.

IFAB are at it again. Personally, I don't think this rule introduction will benefit the game at all. I understand what they're trying to implement but I don't think it's going to work and I can see there being a lot of controversy when it comes into effect. They've already changed and introduced rules that has made the beautiful game we all love confusing hence why there's a lot of talk in punditry regarding "the letter of the law" like handball and offsides.

A trip down memory lane to watch highlights of one of the best, if not the best, football matches ever, the European Cup Final played at Hampden Park in 1960 in front of a crowd of 135,000. Di Stefano scoring 3 goals and Puskas 4 shown in all their glory. A masterclass of Football nearly 64 years ago. Enjoy.
