So today I was thinking about the international scene and how currently Harry Kane is captain of England but not of his club. My question is should the England captain need to be captain of his club first before becoming England captain.?

its been on at home and i have casually watched, some of the games have been quite entertaining. usa look a very good team with their passing, finishing for most of the squads had been questionable and the same could be said about the defending. its just a shame var slows down what already is a pretty slow and scrappy standard of football.

So the women’s World Cup hosted by France is almost apon us the tournament starts on the 7th June as host France face South Korea at 8pm in the opening game. The lioness start their tournament in group D on Sunday 9th June against Scotland kick off 8pm. Then they face Argentina on Sunday 14th June finally rounding off there group again Japan on the 19th June.

So a few days ago I read that Rooney will come out of retirement to play against the USA in a friendly at Wembley. The match has been called a friendly but it’s now being seen has Rooney's international send off. Well the Fifa world rankings has been updated/released and the top 6 is very different from a year ago .. England now sit in 5th place World Cup winners France in 2nd and Belgium are number ones and the biggest shock Brazil in second. Germany and Italy even Spain have dropped out the top five even top ten. which if some one told me this a year ago I wouldn’t have believed it. All i can is what a difference a year and World Cup Make.

So Southgate lead England to the best finish for England in the World Cup in over two decades. He has an approach on bring youth through seems to be working as we beat Spain 3-2 in a blockbuster of a game. But my question has he done enough to change your mind about him being the manager.?

So the great underdogs Gilbralta have made it two straight competive wins. After defeating Almenia 1-0 and getting there first competive win Gilbralta headed in to there match against Lichtenstein with confidence.. so much so they defeated Lichtenstein 2-1 in a thriller of an incounter despite going behind after just 15 minutes how ever In the 60th minutes Gilbralta found there back bone and scored 2 goal which they held on to and claimed there second win.

Last night England ended Spain’s 27 unbeaten game streak by beating them 3-2 in what was a thrilling game. Two from Stirling one fell Rashford was enough to send the 3 cubs in at half time with a 3-0 lead. So as the title above says Sport Australia Hall Of Fame , been announced on OS that the boss Harry Kewell is to be inducted into the above mentioned Hall Of Fame , well done first for that , a good reflection of his career thus far as a player at both club and international levels . Kevin Nolan played for Bolton and Newcastle and west ham scoring 99 goals in his career and over 500 professional gases. He became the captain for Bolton 2 playoff finals which he won but after all of this he never got a international call up in his footballing career. So UEFA have introduced a new competition nations league where national teams England , Spain etc play in like a league formation with promotion and relegations at the end of each games play intended to replace friendlys.
