  1. Interesting statistics regarding the league record of Notts for their last eleven league matches. Just two losses in 11 with 21 points in total gained. Is Stuart turning things around & winning over his doubters. Thoughts?

  2. We all have an idea of our favourite all time great Notts player that we have seen or heard of. But what would be your ultimate Notts team if you could choose your best players either from the players you saw, or who you heard of and read about? I'm sure we will have our favourites. There are so many to choose from, and we will all have our own ideas of which Notts players to put in that team. So I will allow eleven players and one substitute. You can have any formation you like so long as the side is balanced. Good luck.

  6. Stuart Maynard will certainly have a selection problem when all his players are fit & ready to be selected. Some of the players have performed well & pick themselves. Players such as Bass, Macari, Platt, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Jones & Crowley can be selected on merit. But who joins them in the first 11? Defensive Midfield & upfront could prove a selection headache for Stuart. For example, Palmer, Robertson, Edwards, Hinchy, Grant, Austin & Abbott will be fighting over the defensive midfield places. Grant, Austin & Edwards have excelled in attacking midfield roles too. Scott, McGoldrick, Jatta, & Brown will be fighting for a…

Worried as on the final whistle, he limped down to the players tunnel immediately. Last season, Luke allowed him to stay on the pitch when he was clearly injured. Has Stuart made the same error of judgment?

Jacob is settling in to the Notts back three very nicely. And he's not bad on his forays forward when he gets the chance.

  15. Started by Robbie,

Jevani is another good signing for Notts. Another versatile player joins Notts on loan for the Season. Jevani can play as a striker, attacking midfielder or winger, so is another player who brings fantastic versatility to the squad. The squad is now complete till the next transfer window in January in my opinion.

  16. Dan & Jodi are staying. Those two staying are as good as two massive transfer incomings. Fantastic news to end the day.

  17. Started by Robbie,

Who is your player of the match for Notts against Accrington? There are a few players that are deserving of that accolade in my opinion. David McGoldrick. He looked sharp upfront & scored two more goals today. Curtis Edwards. He never stopped running and did his work unnoticed, but he was very effective in midfield. Matty Platt A rock in defence once again. Won most of his aerial duels & is becoming linch pin of the Notts defence. Jacob Bedeau Another good performance by Jacob. Sound in defence & effective when he ventures up front. George Abbott A brilliant debut by the youngster. He was very effective…

Does anyone else have pre match rituals, special clothes they wear, lucky underpants? I always wear a Notts shirt my sons bought me for my 50th birthday 22years ago, the back of the shirt is a bit faded now but you can still read ,”Dad 50” it’s very precious because I only have one son now. I also wear a cap, my old cap which I bought in a charity shop because it said “magpie” got very tatty and @Chris very kindly gave me another one, so I always wear that too. Who else has matchday rituals?

My grandfather always encouraged me to support Notts. He told me that we should look after each other and that being a fan means embracing the fanbase. When I was younger, it didn’t mean much, but it does now. I sit in the Kop with my parents, and sometimes my grandfather comes too. Notts is all I know about football. Some of our fans make games more fun when they joke with you. I see this on PON. I’m glad my parents let me be part of the site. I’d love to hear other people’s stories about supporting Notts, especially if you go to games with your family. We are a family club.

  24. It's time to vote for the Pride of Nottingham's Player of the Season. We have narrowed down the choices. This is not my choice, but it is in line with the Facebook group, which will also count votes. Twitter will count votes soon. Feel free to explain your decision. Tell us why you chose that player.

It must have been thrilling to witness this achievement. I believed that Macaulay Langstaff would be the one to score over 100 goals, perhaps even breaking Les Bradd’s all-time record. @Fan of Big Tone Pride of Nottingham - Notts County Community WWW.FACEBOOK.COM On this day, in 1971, Tony Hateley surpassed Jackie Sewell as Notts County’s leading scorer with his 105th goal in a 2-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers. The 1971/72 season was Hateley’s last at Meadow...
