Are expectations good or bad? Does the pressure of aiming for promotion create unnecessary stress? Should the players handle this demand? And what’s the balance when things aren’t going as planned? I think, in general, expectations are good, though less so when fans are unrealistic. For a club, having a target can help show where the squad and coaching team stand. Targets should be flexible, as signings in January might strengthen other clubs, which is part of the process. From a fan's perspective, I see ambition as a healthier approach. I want Notts to reach the playoffs or higher if possible, but I can reflect on results and how the team performs before review…

Listening to Maynards post match interview he’s asking fans to be patient and they are working hard behind the scenes to get the right person in. I’m hoping for a striker before the window shuts which is in about three weeks I think. What’s on your wish list?

I watched Match Talk on Notts TV the other night and the guest Notts fan Adrian somebody, said he’d heard that the Mansfield forward could be coming to Notts, he asked Charlie McParland who is employed by Mansfield if he’d heard anything but Charlie was tight lipped. Anyone else heard this rumour. I think it’d be a great signing if we could pull it off.

There is a Strong rumour going round. I say again A RUMOUR. Macca as left the Millwall Training Camp in Spain to fly back to the U.K. To Sign For Leeds United, who will loan him back to Millwall for the Coming Season. Any Truth in the Rumour or Do You Think It's A Load of Old Cobblers? I'm more on the Ageing Shoemakers side of things. Then Again if it is True Notts will get a Piece of the Transfer Fee reported to be £1.5 million.

Right Thinking Caps On, Crystal Balls Out (No I'm Not An Android) Take off your Rose Tinted Glasses, Live in the Real World and Not a Fantasy Land. Hand on Heart and Be Totally Honest with Yourself. How Do You See This New Season Going For Notts? What Do You Expect From The Team? And What Will Be Notts Final Position in the League 2 Table? My Answers are:- I See A Season of Struggle unless a New Playing System is Adopted. I Expect Better Performances From the Defence. But Not as many Goals this Season. Notts Final Position 14th Again Give or Take a Place.

Has any PON members bought a Notts membership since it became available. Do you think it is worth the money? I bought a membership because I can't get to every match that would justify buying a season ticket For over 30 years before I retired my working week would include Saturdays and Sundays, so I couldn't attend many Saturday matches due to work commitments. But I am hoping to attend more matches now I'm retired & I think the discount is well worth the money. It also helps Notts too. Pity they don't include free admission to the Nest with the membership.

Scott gets the number nine shirt. Dissapointing that Jatta hasn't got the number nine shirt, but pleased for Cedwyn that Stuart has given it to him for the season.

Well that's the Preseason out of the way and to say the Magpies have been Disappointing would be an understatement. Despite new Defenders being brought in to add Strength to the Back Line the same Old Mistakes are happening as they Did Last Season. Poor Results can't all be placed at the Players door . So What's Wrong With Notts? In My Opinion it's the Game Plan it's as plain as the Nose on your face that the Notts "Model" is all Wrong building up from the Back playing Tippy Tappy Football DOES NOT WORK. And as it's been suggested by other Concerned Fans on PON really by playing this type of Football will only Result in Notts being a Mediocre Midtable Team at Bes…

Yes I Know Macca's gone and different Topics have been written about him. And an Awful Lot By Yours Truly. Just a Couple of more Questions Do you think that if Notts Fans had known Macca was being Sold say around the Time he was appointed as Club Captain, his departure would have had any Real Effect on Season Ticket Sales? And If You Knew Macca was going to Leave Before You Bought Your Season Ticket . Would You have Still bought Your Season Ticket, or would You Have Not Bothered?

I say give the number nine jersey to Alasana Jatta. He is a worthy recipient to take the converted jersey after Macca's exit. Three goals already in preseason games. He fully deserves to lead the Notts attack.

The Departure of Macca from Notts at what seems a Ridiculous Low Price as tendered some Speculation, well it as with Me Anyway. This is just my thoughts on the Subject and this is just My Opinion about things. And this an Extension of what I have already commented on another Thread. It was Announced that Notts are in an Healthy Financial Position and that the Club Had No Need To Sell Off It's Star Players. It was also Stated that Notts had a Budget that could Cope Financially with Playing in League 1 and the Lower Half of the Championship. The Announcement of the Purchase of the site to be turned into the Nest and the total Revamp of the Meadow Lane Pitch up to Premi…
