I suspect that this is Frank Vincent, with his recent release.

Yes, he has retired. He had a very successful career, though not without its lows. His presence would divide opinions until you saw him play. Most of the clubs he had stints with would call him a lege

@CliftonMagpie, you’ve provided so much detail that my brain is doing the cha-cha! @super_ram, I am loving it. If you could see me right now, you’d wonder why my tash is doing the tango. ????

Here's the rephrased sentence in UK spelling: "I'm checking VAR. Did you search Google, @Fan of Big Tone? You've guessed the correct answer! ????

Round 10 clueThis person was born in October and is a former professional footballer from England. He last played for a team in the East Midlands and he knew where the net is. Can you guess who it is?

Yes @super_ram, ????????

@Fan of Big Tone Ha! Don’t take me too seriously. My comment was just a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour. There’s no harm in searching; I just like to make things a bit more challenging for myself!

No, his career continued for almost another decade @Fozzy. ????????

Phew! I thought I was in big trouble. ????

I'm very disappointed in @super_ram. I gave him a clue very early on and he didn't bother to even have a go. The number of times he's asked if the player had any connection to Derby County... and when you say yes, he doesn't even have a go. Well done, @Fan of Big Tone. You've guessed correctly. @Fozzy needs to be careful!

Right, now we’ve reached round 10. I’ll come back tomorrow to do round 11. When we get to round 20, I’ll throw in some trivia and see if anyone can gain some bonus points. There’s logic to my madness and madness to my mayhem. Make sure you keep an eye on this!

Round 11 Clue; Who was the former footballer that played in the full back position and was a product of the youth system at Notts County where his older brother was already a first team regular?

I have refrained from posting to allow @Fozzy the opportunity to regain his focus, as he was away enjoying the success of previous rounds.

Good luck with your guesses.

chris and craig short were both centre backs right? i am struggling to think of other brothers that have played for notts.

Chris Short was a right back and famously had Ryan Giggs in his pocket when we played United at Meadow Lane in the old first division. Played so well that day that Giggs was subbed off. He wasn’t a product of our youth team though. Both he and his brother were signed from Scarborough.

I initially thought Wayne Fairclough, but can’t remember if he was a right back or centre back and I think Chris was a product of Forest’s youth team?

Don’t think Ivan Hampton had a brother that played for Notts either @Fan of Big Tone, but could be wrong on that as he was way before my time!

Question for @CliftonMagpie Did they play together in the Notts first XI at the same time, and which brother made the most appearances?

Sorry, I'm out at the moment and wasn't able to reply until now. @Fozzy, I think you were on the right path. The player in question played far more than his brother and I think they would've played in the same side briefly. @Fan of Big Tone has guessed correct. ????????

GET IN!!

Sorry @CliftonMagpie was I suppose to wait until the question had been answered?

If so apologies to @Fozzy

I certainly remember Tony Bircumshaw playing in the 60s, as I say he was a tough tackling full back, quite chunky and hard to get past. If I remember right he played in the same team as Ivan Hampton, the Goalie was George Smith a right character who sometimes used to come out of his goal and dribble up the touch line, he’s even been known to take a throw in.
