    Managed it in 4 today, like yourself I do it first thing every morning, just a point I then go on and do the NY Times mini crossword, which at times can be awkward as some answers you only really know

I was just beginning to get worried but my time in the lace trade  helped me.

@Ohh Tommy Johnson,It's a man made fibre also called viscose  and was usually mixed with nylon.

That brought back memories of working many years ago.

Of course.. wasn't that made by Courtaulds in Spondon?  Chemical manufacture is my area.. or stopping the manufacturing plants from blowing up is anyway.
