There must be hundreds of so called real ales available from various outlets.  Pre Covid whenever I visited a pub I would try the real ale rather than the big brewery drink.I found I was often disappointed with what I was served.On the other hand I would often be delighted if I discovered a new nectar.

Me neither @super_ram I got three Speckled Hen and three Hobgoblin Ruby, it’s all I could carry as I was walking.

Today me and Mrs. Tone had lunch in a lovely canalside pub I had a pint of Elsie Mo, it was lovely and slipped down my throat a treat in this warm weather.

Several years ago,probably about 10,me and  @GrannyPie went in a pub selling Castle Rock Brewery beer.I can't remember where this pub was and I wasn't ,at the time, familiar with the name.I think there were about 5 different pumps and I tried 3 of them before we left.They were all very nice and Elsie Mo was one of them.I wish I could remember where that pub was.

just dont go on a bender or what us notts now refer to 'a ruben rodrigues weekender bender' @super_ram.

I might find myself in Morrisons at some stage of the week; they do have some good deals from time to time.
