It's been such a fun time, but I don't think we can top that Doyle clip! 

In my opinion, there are far better audio clips of Charlie Slater, including those with Mak Stallard, than the one where he overdoes his words when Michael Doyle scored his wonder goal. My favourites from the past season, not because Notts gained promotion, but because of the more genuine celebrations and the phrase coined “get in” by Stallard.

i remember one where charlie and mark was jumping about after we pinched a win, that one was pure awesomeness. i will try to find it out.

It would make me two faced if I didn't stand by and be honest, that clip of Michael Doyle scoring really irritates me. I said it at the time, although I found Charlie to be annoying. There are far better quotes from him. Such as, "From Portugal with Power."

That made me smile when I heard it.

After learning that Charlie Slater is leaving, it’s clear that he has been a significant part of the community over the past few years. Watching videos of his commentary truly tugs at the heartstrings, much like seeing Colin Slater’s last ever commentary.  

Wembley’s reactions will take some beating, I think!

There will be many memorable moments, and everyone will have their personal favourites, but they are all largely positive memories. This past season was incredible.
