Richard Brindley was narrowing down the area of where Danny Rose could shoot, in theory making it more predictable as to where he would shoot. I didn't blame Brindley for not getting back enough to get the ball away. I believe he knew the chances of him clearing the ball safely, without Rose going down for a penalty - that limiting his space was the best he could do.

I actually think Aidan Stone should have done better, but it's a difficult one, and I don't hold it against him.

Similar to Aaron Nemane or Connell Rawlinson.

Having watched the highlights, he didn't do as good a job as I thought he did in person.

I don't believe Richard Brindley can be entirely blamed for not intercepting the ball; he might have reached it, but one would anticipate the goalkeeper to handle such situations more effectively. Aidan Stone's positioning left room for improvement, as did his reaction, although I was impressed by his distribution skills.
