The league have credited Jodie Jones with his goal for Notts against Grimsby, he’s now on two.

 

i think it should have been given from the start, as it looked like he meant it. its good to see jodi in such good form.

hes one of those players who can change games.

It’s great news for Jodi Jones; he’s got his wish, and it’s good to have it confirmed as his goal. It won’t make much difference to his performances, but for his stats and club record, it’s a bonus.

Great news for Jodi! He may consider himself lucky to have the goal awarded to him, but as he said in his interview, it had better have been his goal. Thankfully, it was.

Great news, whether or not Jodi deserves it, it doesn’t matter because the league has awarded it to him and that is all that matters.

Congratulations are in order for Jodi Jones, who has been credited with the goal. He will undoubtedly be thrilled with this decision.

I am very happy with this news myself, as I thought he had scored. I didn't see the reflection, as I said at the time @super_pie kept complaining I hadn't seen the deflection it took of the players foot. Having seen the replies of the goal, I still only think it was a minor touch and looked to be going in.

Right call for me.

I am happy that Jodi Jones has been accredited with the goal. I think it’s a good decision, but I never thought it would be given, in truth.

It looked to me a definite cross that was never going close to the goal, so strange to see it given to JJ. Happy for JJ nontheless.

I thought it had caught a slight deflection. I couldn’t tell at the time if he had thought to fake a cross but decided to go for goal. In the highlights, it did look like a cross, but I am happy for Jodi Jones.

It’s pleasing to see Jodi Jones rewarded with a goal; he won’t care if people believe it should be classified as an own goal.

I am also pleased for Jodi Jones. He’s such a talented player, and it’s something that will hopefully give him a bit more of a boost.

Good news for Jodi Jones, I believe he should score plenty more goals over the course of the season but it’s wonderful to see this one credited to him.

Jodi Jones may not publicly show that he cares, but privately, he will be happy with the achievement. He is not likely to worry or be bothered by it, but rather, he will be content that it has been counted in his name.

Jodie Jones will be pleased with the news. I’m sure he wouldn’t have minded if it hadn’t been attributed to him, but now that it has, well, that’s a different matter. That makes two for him.

Jodi just didn't click in the first two games, and I worried about where Macca was going to get the service that he got from RR last season.  But he's really come good against Grimsby and Doncaster. He's going to get balls in the box for Langstaff and McGoldrick and score a few himself.  

I am pleased Jodi Jones ended up being credited for his goal. It’s something that seems unimportant, but for a player to have goals to their name can be something that helps get the most out of them.

Jodie will be delighted with the decision. Really, I don’t see the harm in awarding the goal to him.

It is debatable whether the EFL should grant the goal. I am sure there will be other goals that will not be credited to others, and that could be inconsistent. It is up to the EFL to decide; we accept it, and I am happy for Jodi. I just wonder what would happen if another player’s goal is denied, and it is more deserving

It’s good news for Jodi Jones. Some people might not be happy with it, but they can take it up with the EFL.

Jodi won’t be concerned or lose sleep over the decision being made by the EFL. We can just be happy for him!

Good news for Notts and Jodi Jones, it looked unlikely that his goal would be given, but the matter has now been decided. Good for him!

Another goal has been added to Jodi Jones’ tally, a decision I don’t question. If the EFL deems it appropriate to credit Jodi, then that’s satisfactory for me.
