I have just seen the news and came to see if anyone had posted about it. It’s very saddening news. He was a good player, a very good player for West Brom, in fact.

 

I remember him, he'd long since passed his best as a player by the time he joined us, but in the greater scheme of things that's irrelevant. This is tragic news, and 55 is no age at all. RIP

very sad news, he played for notts before i got into the club but i appreciate the season he did have with us. its a shame to learn he was only 55.

Any death is saddening when its connected to Notts or someone we love. It is horrible news.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Ian Hamilton at the young age of 55. It is truly a tragedy to lose someone so young and our thoughts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

It is awful news, as any death is and at 55, it does hit you especially if you are near to the age or older. Rest in Peace.
