I find this a very baffling decision. The fact that the game was abandoned in the 96th minute with Buxton on the verge of a 2-1 win and they have to play the full 90 all over again. 

There'll be some proper kicking off if Scunthorpe go on to win the game and I wouldn't blame the fans or club for doing so if that'd be the case.

Surely there was a better solution than this?

That’s is ridiculous I’m sure a better solution could have been found.

It's called concluding that 96' minutes is far more than reasonable to award the win. The referee should have just blown the whistle. A reply isn't fair to Buxton, who should be the team being protected considering the game sounds almost a certain win for them.

it sounds very unfair, even they restart the game at 2-1, it means they have more time to defend the lead which would have otherwise been over.
