The scandal at the Post Office is a shocking tale. Fujitsu should take responsibility, pay up, and let this matter finally come to a close. They share as much blame as anyone else. It’s unacceptable to ruin people’s lives over software errors and expect it to reflect positively on your company.

Keir Starmer accused of huge U-turn as 'CPS staff blamed for Post Office scandal errors'

But @Robbie I believe this is blatantly wrong and another smear attempt on Starmer

The Post Office was under a unique position in that they could bring prosecutions directly within their own jurisdiction , without any reference to the CPS.

Will we be seeing a full apology from the Express? ..I'll wait.....

This is a scandal for the ages. Questions need to be asked of senior politicians, now this.

Post office mystery: So what did bosses do with all that money?

Ministers will order the Post Office to explain what it did with cash taken from sub-postmasters who had been told money had gone missing from branches.

I saw a news report on this a few days ago. They interviewed an elderly woman about when she wanted to be repaid. She said, “Today’s fine”. I thought she was right. It’s high time they received their compensation and this issue was put to rest. Let the victims live the rest of their lives without this burden. They’ve suffered enough.
