Funnily enough I was going to say the same an English Football Team being Sponsored by a Couple of Dogs? Great Minds and All That.

Could this be linked to the chairman of Barrow? It’s puzzling why Newfoundland and Labrador, which appears to be Canadian, would choose to sponsor the front shirt of a team like Barrow. If they were seeking international visibility, there are certainly more effective options available. I’m in agreement with @liampie, it does seem rather odd.

Newfoundland and Labrador possibly couldn't Afford to Sponsor a Premier League or Championship Side. Or they may have been Sold the Story that like Wrexham they are Team on the Up.

I would ask the tax payers in Newfoundland and Labrador...is this good use of "your" money?

there are better teams in the national league they could sponsor, maybe even league one/two.

If Newfoundland & Labrador have sponsored Barrow good luck to Barrow. It is a good thing that some money is going to a club that needs it, and it gets Barrow some publicity too.

California or Texas can come sponsor Notts front of shirt if they want  for several million pounds, I wouldn't say no
