If he has attitude problems, stepping up will be harder. He will need to put in the effort and make sure he does what is needed. Sometimes, that's not in his own interest but the team's.

It is a very big move, if he puts his all into it - it could change his life for the better.

The French league is very different from the English, but from Non-League to this sort of thing. Well it's a dream move for any aspiring player.

it does sound like a once in a live time move, but it does also seem like he has issues with applying himself. for a move like this to move you really need to commit.

if it was a top flight english club i could see this happening.

You wouldn't have guessed this, but if it happens, it's a good move for him. The French league isn't as great as people say, but it's a good opportunity.
