We are back for another round of MAGnets! This time, we will be playing Bromley FC at Hayes Lane on the 14th of September 2024.

The player I will start this round with might not have been the best technically, but he was a top person off the field and always had a smile on his face. He currently plays for Rochdale, but before he played for Notts, he played for Bromley. It's none other than Tobi Adebayo-Rowling.

Let's stick to naming one at a time for now, please. So, we can see how many members can contribute to this. :)

Here is the match discussion too.
Will be added once live.

Please feel free to join in, but let's stick with one guess to start things off. This might be a harder round!

Myles Weston, the ex-Notts winger, now plays for Bromley. I believe he signed for them back in 2023.

Does anyone remember Kyle De Silva? He played for Notts in 2015. A wave of young players came to the club, but he was gone by the end of the season. He signed for FC Eindhoven for two years and then moved to Bromley in 2019. He was born in Croydon, so it was quite local for him. Now, he’s 30 years old and last played for Sevenoaks Town.

Can anyone else name more players? Let’s stick with one for now, but I have a feeling this might lead to more soon.

Adam Coombes ✔️
Myles Weston ✔️
Richard Brindley ✔️
Conor Parsons ✔️
Lartey Sarpong ✔️
Kyle De Silva ✔️

I don’t believe there are any more. I might be wrong, but I would be surprised if there are any more.

I can think of two players that are yet to be mentioned. So I'll go with the slightly less obvious one for now: Zak Brunt, he went on loan to Bromley the season after he had a short loan with us.

I can't believe nobody mentioned the warrior that was Dion Kelly-Evans, nearly 100 appearances for us I thought he'd be the first one to be named!

Whoops! I've had a complete shocker, neither Brunt or Dion played for Bromley, you are right. I've confused them with Boreham Wood! Both from London, both start with B, both play the same style of football and both play in white! Come on guys, make yourselves a bit more unique, they merged into one team for me in the National League as far as I was concerned!
