The moment has arrived to cast your vote for the Pride of Nottingham’s Player of the Month. We’ve carefully shortlisted the candidates, and while these aren’t my personal picks, they align with the preferences of our Facebook group, whose votes will also be counted. Twitter voting will be available shortly.

We encourage you to share your thoughts and reasons behind your choice. Let us know why you believe your selected player deserves the title. Your input is valuable and helps us celebrate the standout performances of this past month.

Matty Platt has been a rock in the Notts defence and deserves to be in this shortlist. I would also go so far as to say that he holds the Notts defence together too.

Jacob Bedeau has forged a very good defensive partnership with Matty Platt & Lewis Macari. Jacob also likes to foray forward when he gets the chance, so he also deserves to be on the list.

George Abbott came into the side,& has fitted into the Notts system so well. He has made a big difference to the midfield with his tackling & calmness on the ball.

Alex Bass has cemented his place as number one between the sticks for his consistent performances over the last month.

But my vote goes to David McGoldrick because has been so influential for Notts over the past month with his leadership & work rate while leading the Notts line.

He has been notable for scoring spectacular goals, creating goals for others, & last ditch defending on the Notts line.

jacob bedeau gets my vote, he has impressed me a lot and i do love those quick balls he plays that releases david mcgoldrick. i think he has been very good during september but its tough.

Honourable mention for Abbott, really impressed considering he is so young and hasn't played competitive football before. But it's between Platt or Bedeau for me, I think they've both been as good as each other really so it's really hard to say! So in the hope of causing a tie, I've voted for Platt.

There are a few more who could have been considered, but I think Jacob Bedeau has been superb. He has been a big plus at the back for Notts. He’s not afraid to get stuck in and is quite good at moving forward.

It could have been anyone, but well done to Jodi Jones. The votes from Notts fans have chosen wisely, so congratulations to him!

In a way it was kind of nice to not have Jodi as an option, even though he won it in the end we all know how good he is!

Well done to Jodi Jones, it was well deserved. Mistakes happen, but whoever gets voted for clearly deserves it.
