The 1st round draw is made tomorrow......odds on we will play away at Chesterfield!!!... who else would be a better option????

I just want Notts to have a chance to get to the third round to meet one of the big boys at home, with live TV cameras & a big pay day for Notts.

So a non league team at home please, but just beware of the banana skin.

I don't really mind who we draw. I hope it will be a team that we don't have to worry much about. I know teams lift themselves for the cup, but if we draw a team where fielding some of our youngsters can give them experience and also help us make the next round, it seems like a win-win to me.

We will be ball number 34!

There are 80 teams in the round, 32 of the teams are from Non-League, 48 from the EFL so the odds will tip slightly in favour of drawing another EFL side… I’m hoping we’ll avoid a team in our league as we play them twice already. And any trip to top league 1 side will be tough. Big no’s to Wrexham and Shrewsbury for me, I’m fed up of losing to them!

I don't mind either. Whoever we get, we need to make sure it doesn't become a distraction. At the same time, we need to take it seriously. It would be good to involve some of the youngsters if the team we get warrants resting some main players.

Alfreton at home it is then! It'll be a good occasion, there'll be a fair few from Alfreton there. A home tie against a non-league team gives us a good chance of progressing in theory, but we all know that these games can be a banana skin. We've made ourselves look like eejits often enough.

I think we should throw everything we've got at the FA Cup this season, we're long overdue a run!

Yeah good draw that, given the proximity Alfreton will be able to easily bring a good number of fans.

We seem to usually get the better of them in friendlies, but this will be a totally different type of game, I'm looking forward to it!

I watched the draw on telly and before we were drawn out I turned to Mrs. T and said Alfreton at home would be a good draw and blow me they came out.

Should be an interesting match but who will @super_ram support because I know he’s a bit of an Alfreton fan. ????

I can't remember the last time I went to an 'Ofton' game @Fan of Big Tone.,it must be 50 years or more. My dad used to keep me up to date with results and performances but since he passed away I just check their results along with all the other results. He would have been really chuffed to be drawn against Notts.I just hope it's a good game ,free of controversies.

I have a side to play Alfreton.
