Can all those who haven't read @super_ram's excellent article on the early history of the FA Cup please do so otherwise you will be accused of procrastination (look it up) and you don't want that.   It's all about the FA Cup when Super was a lad and they kicked pigs bladders around.

 

Seriously it is an excellent article and the old boy has obviously taken a lot of time and trouble to write it, I know I couldn't do it, so have a read and see what you think.

I've mentioned in his series discussion thread that I pretty much had to push for him to do this, see @super_ram's got a lot of history books on football. He's got one of Derbies results from the early days upto about the late 80's if I recall right. I think it's a brilliant feature and with us celebrating 150 years, I felt 150 years of football covered in a series of articles would be excellent.

He's excelled and often ahead of me, I've backlogged some but he continues to write! Thankfully we're up to date now.
