Wasn't another Championship side linked with him? Why sell a promising striker for 700k? Surely you could have gotten more. Bonuses are all well and nice, though often they are more in favour of the buyer. Not the best news for you, so I can understand your disappointment.

At least it was Leeds that he turned down, only bit of good news in all this!!

that sounds really weird. wonder if they are clearing room and getting big cash to get someone else they already have lined up?? Possibly. 

Bristol City are a bigger club than Rotherham. No offence meant. Bristol City are investing to get back to where they should be. I think they'll achieve that.

How long did he have on his contract? I only ask as he could have already turned down an improved contract so the powers that be have decided to cash in now plus they see him everyday & maybe he wont cut it in the championship so again they have decided to cash in now??
