I'm going to order a Kindle HDX for the wife for Xmas. At £100 notes you can't go wrong as it is such a big difference to the kindle e-reader she has always had. Half price is worth it me thinks!

 

 

I bought Mrs H a KINDLE HDX for her birthday this month and she loves it.

Best thing I've ever bought. Like I said, he wife uses an original kindle now, but for £100 it would be daft not too!

Absolutely ridiculous why do people get taken in by these silly American ideas, McDonalds, Starbucks, trick or treat, I'm surprised we don't start celebrating Thanksgiving as well.

Yes it was @PTID1862 apparently Black Friday is always the day after thanksgiving when the stores in America reduce goods, a bit like our Boxing Day.

Strange, I thought "Black Friday" was always to do with Suffragettes

Cheek~K8 dragged me out and it was absolutely horrible.

dont even try to get me out the house, i wont move! no shopping on sales day. i will wait for cyber monday!!

Tried to look at  few websites this am and they were all crashed! Tesco, Asda, Argos, Currys.

 

Went to Argos and when I approached the car park realised they were queuing out the door and letting one person at a time.

We've got our youngest two all weekend while mum and dad have a break in the lakes, they're in bed now thankfully but they'll be up with a lark tomorrow.

Next up is cyber Monday!

Made me laugh when I had an email from Amazon local telling me to snap up bargains because it's Black Friday week!

All of a sudden it's gone from a day to a week.

I think next year Tesco's should put chainsaws in the TV boxes.

This way, natural selection can return to humanity and we can be rid of societies unwanted. Obviously a few cameras will be needed to film the killings. It will be fantastic, like Hunger Game meets Jeremy Kyle. 

Could we not have to the death Gladiatorial contests in the car park? if you survive you get to go shopping....

@notts-joe - I didn't exactly drag you out and i wasn't looking for black friday deals. Just wrapping paper and a few gifts whilst the kids weren't with us.

i also noticed some shops had a week of sales but some of them didn't have much off
