I heard that we had a practice match with Peterborough and lost 5-0

 

Anyone got any details, any gossip on trialists etc?

First I've heard of losing but I had noticed comments that we had a game behind closed doors.

Hopefully someone else on here may have further information

I've not heard anything about it either. I'm sure someone on here would of heard about it. I wouldn't of thought we would of lost by that many goals if it was the first team unless they really weren't trying because of it not being a proper game.

I was beginning to think I had dreamt it but I checked back and if read it on the mailing list. Can't verify the score but Bish tweeted that he played 45 minutes, "it was a good workout" and that they had some triallists in the team. It was played on the 12th.

No I recall people speaking of it on Facebook, I believe someone asked if you could pay to watch.

Probably a good case they didn't but these type of friendlies don't really say much, I almost added a joke about Bish not being fit but It wasn't funny. Yes, tuesday was when I recall comments about a match and I thought I had missed one.

to be fair there is not really much to be said about closed door friendlies. i would be more concerned about tomorrow myself and unless you expect to make a few other additions it's most likely a case of looking ahead in the summer. you guys need to make do with what you have now to be honest!
