McCoist resignation

This one seems strange to me, to say the least

Ally McCoist resigns as manager of Rangers, ok... but then starts a 12 notice period, seems to be an extraordinarily long time..

Similarly he has resigned, but now at a club limited on finance and making a loss, he gets a pay rise...

Thoughts on this one....

Shrewd move - if his contract enables him to give such a lengthy period of notice. Either he has a good agent or the Club were a tad naive! Bizarre arrangement.

Wow. What a great contract that is. Even better if he gets paid in full and released immediately or paid in full and placed on 'gardening leave' That would be some serious gardening!

i dont like ally mccoist, very overrated and never worth that much.

managers getting paid silly sums, players earning massive wage packets and fans struggling to support their team. nice!

You can't really blame the bloke though can you?

Some of the stick he's had to put up with is ridiculous, he stuck by them at a time when no other big name did, deflecting a lot of bad stuff away just because of who he is to the Rangers faithful.
