Dave Kevan new coach

It is yet again extremely amateurish from our club / media department that we let everyone else release our news whilst we don't report anything.

More signs that the club are currently a joke

Says a lot that we end up reading it in the red rag first!

I think the whole thing has been badly done from the time he was sacked to Rays comments at the quiz last week to now with nothing coming from the club.

I realise it is not their job to comment on every rumour, but tell that to the chairman!!!

One statement along the lines of Paul Hart is in charge until we decide otherwise.

Follow that up with Paul Hart NOT saying in an official interview on mplayer saying he's in for one game only. He knew that due to comments (probably tanked up) from the chairman at a club quiz!!!!!!!!

Oh dear Notts. why can't we be normal for a change?

A normal announcement of a normal manager!!! Btw I do think Moniz is a canny appointment of given the time.

Then the club are going to act like no one knows anything and just announce what we all already know and has been reported by everyone else bar them

really has gone @#+! Up for him. New job as assistant manager with a forward thinking manager and then left to either work with Danny Wilson or be out of a job!!!

Good to have him back, I don't care who reports it provided it is. PON could do a far better job than the red rag, if only!

PS Kevan knows a real player, gets the best out if average players and works hard. Good to have him back!!

Just read the article on the BBC website, sit back and say quite loudly 'That's my club'.

Surreal, really. Someone you employ requires confirmation of his appointment. I couldn't stop laughing! That said, Dave is a great guy. Very friendly and he's more 'one of our own' than Shaun Derry, mainly because he's lasted behind the scenes for some time and kept his feet above the water. Quite a bitchy comment that, I certainly didn't mean it sound that way.

Very good coach, decent assistant and he will demand the respect for this club from the players.

He's the type of person people would hate to let down! Just one look of his sad face and you'll be searching YouTube for kitten videos, you will feel that guilty. I hope he brings some change and actually manages to work with whoever comes in. We need people who are Notts through and through! I was also hoping Tommy Johnson may return like what was rumoured.

Just without Red Bull, what a weird combo that would be.

This for me is a strange situation... will DK be a deal breaker for the new manager? Will he end up getting boot... or will we lose out on the manager... I hope neither
