League Cup 1st round - Huddersfield (A)

Featured Replies

Well done to the lads... must have rode our luck a little... sounded like Nobbers goal will be one of the best this season and one of the best from a Notts player for quite some time

Happy happy PTID

Great win tonight, what a start to the season. Listening to the Huddersfield Town commentator they were asking which was the Championship side and which was the League Two side.

I thoroughly expect Mansfield to be put to the sword, 4 or 5-0.

As expected, a Notts win. This squad is top of League 1 quality, teams like Huddersfield are always going to be beatable. Home draw next please.

Bloody marvelous result Notts. Cant wait for the stags now.

I think the most encouraging part has got to be the performance (according to uncle Col and Stallard.) It seems that even though it is early doors, the new lads have bought into the attack, attack, attack idea. Performance is everything as we know from last year. A good start is pointless if the wins are lucky etc... we want progress built upon good ideas.

Also liked the interviews after. Noble crediting Smith with the coaching. Earning his wage then. Keep it up Alan.

Ricardo still not happy. Even better. Keep up the demands!

Thursday i believe..

Man u at home then please.

Big result this, lets dream of a big tie or at least another one we can win. :D

Certainly good finishes from Noble, which is always good to see.  Let's just hope he can carry on the momentum (I remember Gary Jones scored a worldy in pre-season but his goals dried up for the season proper)

Their keeper doesn't seem to be very bright does he? Good goal, even on replay it gets better!

Crazy result consider, at 1-0 down I thought here we go but credit the squad. Liam Noble drove us forward and without him, I think we would not have come a way with the win.

I want to see more goals like this from Nobsa, what a player hes turning out to be. Having beaten these, I am very impressed!

This was an unbelievable performance, even after going down to 10 men we still looked strong. I am very impressed with Noble, hes a credit to the club and his passion is finally shinning through for the right reasons.

I heard we had won, news carries slow across the states. Its why I am thankful for this place, now we know who have. Can Jon Stead help us progress like he did with Bradford?
