I was watching the football, I look to my left and see great scenes of the Italian Magpies enjoying their visit. I look to my right and Jakes having fun with one of the little IM's. I watch the football and for some unknown reason discontent could be heard, I scanned the picture and looked to Joe, asking what's going on?

Just after, I turn to see the fight near the steps. Disgraceful behaviour!

I've heard so many versions, it's crazy.

That's a new one for me, though I don't think any version makes sense. It's a shame because it's not needed, quite pathetic really. Makes us look bad as a group of supporters, doesn't shine the light on the club to well.

Crowd trouble at Notts! Not the only place it happened today. There was quite a rumpous amongst the Millwall supporters in the F.A cup semi final.This was really disgraceful as there were young children around and I'm ashamed to add that some of my own teams fans were apparently fighting at Blackburn .I hope we're not going to return to the stupid kind of scenes of  the late  60's and 70's.

There tends to be fights alot in crowds nowadays, but they don't really get noticed or sorted out by stuwards unless its a big group of fans, or different fans fighting. There is always lots of different versions because some people like to put their own spin onto it.

We very rarely have trouble at Notts County and especially at meadow lane. We're known to be a family club so to be honest I could believe the explanation of it being a couple of drunken fools. We dont tend to have fans who go to games for the sole purpose of causing trouble.

More trouble at Newcastle after being defeated at home by fierce rivals Sunderland. Idiots!

Drunken idiots and rivalry is the cause of most trouble at football games, not necessarily notts... but others.

 

 

I don't see any young child there, not even on a couple of others where the guy leaning over is shown the door. I think it's pathetic, stewards appear to be doing a great job and stopping it.

this is bad. i would not have been happy if we had been their with my son and this happen. it doesn't set a good example for our young fans. also why aren't the stewards dealing with it? shocking, and i hope all parties involved have a ground ban!

This is the one thing I worry about when I think of taking my grandson, you never know when violence might erupt, I find it a bit intimidating and frightening so goodness knows what a 4 year old would feel.

I'm thank @paolo and Romeo were keeping Jake busy, as I don't think he noticed due to them playing. (he hasn't said anything) It looked like it broke to the steps which looked like one fell down but I heard much later that stewards were pushing some people.

Disrespectful to other fans and the club.

It looks like the stewards were doing something about it, but i'm sure they could of done more before it got that far out of hand.

idiots ruining a special day, dont see him being banned but he should.

I think he will just be stopped from going to the rest of the seasons home games if that. They should ban him though because he may learn that starting fights gets him nowhere.

Theres soo many stories passing around, i don't we will get to know how it exactly started or even why.

Thats stewards for you. All too eager to make you sit down in your allocated seat but when theres actually trouble, they're useless.

There were enough staff there to do something, but it didn't look there was many actually helping out and doing their job. I wasn't there so though i can't comment on what actually happened.
