Anyone on here use it?

I've just set it up on my main computer and on the tv downstairs. Looks good so far!

I used to have a media server but it wasn't one of these hi-tech ones.

Nope, I stream media via a hard drive setup as a media server. Since my TV is Wi-Fi ready, the PS3 is - Everything just flows nicely.

I think I'm right in saying you can get plex for the pstation as well. Take a look at the front end. Its very user friendly and has a good look about it. Very child friendly and adult friendly with its features such as 'on deck' which monitors what you are watching and lines up the next episode ready at the touch of one button etc...

Very impressed so far. If it works well over an extended trial i'll invest in the plex pass which means I can give my code to my parents so they can access the media directly without me having to do anything or i'll be able to watch any of it from any wifi connection in the world!

When the internet isn't playing up... everything just connects to wifi, so we don't need it.

nope, i dont own any sort of media server.
