Notts part company with Liam Noble

Featured Replies

Maybe naive but I was expecting more from him when he came back.

we know the old adage:- you should never go back !

I wish him well though. His wages can go towards the “Game Changer” ????

Thank god the 100k bid was never accepted, and that he arrived to the club on a free. I cannot comment on his performances but the fact nobody seems bothers highlights something to me.

we stuck him out wide when hes better in the centre but i dont think he would make too much of a difference, so im not bothered. i did not want us to resign him and it shows how pointless it was that we chased him for so long.

I feel Liam Noble thinks he has to be the star player in order to get the best out of him, this might explain why he has signed for Hartlepool because he should be their best player.

If Noble was such a big target, why was he given a contract until the end of the season?

I think if we went up he would have signed and all this "family" talk wouldn't exist with him or O'Connor. We are better off without Liam, he has too much baggage and was never really classy player for this division.
