I don't think anyone would have expected Argentina, Germany, Spain or even Portugal all stumbling. I think it's making the World Cup more interesting with teams like Japan and Croatia doing well.

We just need to see Brazil stumble now!

You have to fancy England's chances if that happened.

It's the most unpredictable World Cup for sometime.

I never thought so many big nations would have fallen so soon. It just shows you that when people moaned about us not being good enough, England have already proven themselves to better than some that have go so far.

Never did I think that so many top nations would fall, yet when they struggled I had this feelings that some may - Argentina have been lucky not to end up like Germany. Portugal are just woeful if teams press them back deep.

It's a shame Mexico hasn't given Brazil more of a contest today.
