What's the most amount of money you have ever found?

What's the most amount of money you have ever found? And did you keep it?

I once found a bag filled with $20 bills during a delivery I had to make, at a service station rest room there was a brown bag just left in one of the toilet cubicles and being the person I am I didn't bother to check it. I just got out of there as quickly as I could and without drawing attention to myself.

£20 out side my local shop .. as I picked it up and moved a way a old lady asked me if i had seen a £20 note .. couldnt lie could I.

I have found various money over the years, if I can't give it back to the rightful owner I put it in a charity box.

there has been times when i have found money and kept it, but i always try to give it back.

i have found wallets and purses before, i go out of my way to hand them back to whoever may have dropped them or to the nearest police station.

Highest I have found was £10, no idea who it belonged to but I spent it wisely.

If you can't give it back why waste it?

£20 several times, only one occasion springs to mind when I was able to reunite the money with the rightful owner. Usually people are long gone.

I’ve got a very shameful secret to impart to you all.

I once was walking past a cash point and there was £50 sticking out, I pocketed it and walked on, afterwards I felt really really guilty, I should have hung about and waited to see if anyone came back for it. I have always regretted doing it, I was just driven by greed. I really hope it wasn’t someone who couldn’t afford to lose £50.
