Eddie Howe's Team Talk Done For Him?

Featured Replies

I can't believe that is a serious piece of journalism! It's almost like a spoof taking the mickey out of the Fword for being so much up their own backside.

I don't know who wrote it but I know that Paul Taylor who regularly writes about them is in fact a Notts fan. So perhaps he wrote it with his tongue firmly planted in his cheek.

Bournemouth managed to score an injury time equaliser today, so I imagine that "plucky little south coast club" enjoyed their "big day out" at the "world famous city ground"

Well done the Cherries!

Question-Have 'that lot' played a team near the top yet and won convincingly?

The highest ranked side they've faced so far is Watford who are 7th, and they got a 1-1 draw down at Vicarage road. Also drew with bounemouth (9th) and beat Blackburn (10th). They've not yet played any of the real promotion contenders apart from Watford. They've got Yeovil away next weekend. Should be interesting. Yeovil away must be proving a bit of a culture shock to championship sides this season!
