Notts County and the gaffer have today received some good news as winger Enzio Boldewijn is ahead of schedule as he looks to return to the first team earlier than the original three month assessment suggested.

Enzio who was injured back in November and underwent surgery to repair his knee in the 1-1 draw his return was first scheduled middle of February but it seems he is ahead of schedule.

The gaffer said “he is making excellent progress and is pencilled in to return to full training next week”

You have to worry that if he comes back too early he could be heading for a longer term injury. We can only put our faith in the medical specialists.

yeah, i dont think neal ardley is the type of manager who would rush key players.

there is no doubt that enzio has been a big loss, if we can get him back and drill into him that he must assist with defending. i think he would be a huge boost to the starting 11.
