Hardy praises the departed Hawkridge

Terry Hawkridge has departed Notts County and joined sollihalls moors since then Alan Hardy has since praised Terrys commitment to the team  and says Terry deserves respect.

He also says that Terry didn’t want to just sit on the bench and take his wages.

good luck to him because he always gave 100%, hope he manages to get back into the football league as it seems harsh on him that we wasted the chance to allow him to go back to lincoln city.

It's true that Terry Hawkridge wanted to play regularly and he's done the right thing, however I just feel that Notts have shot themselves in the foot with the lack of wingers we have. It's clear how much we miss Enzio Boldewijn and Nathan Thomas isn't stepping up.

Aside from Lewis Alessandra, we are quite flat in this department.

On reflection I think allowing him to leave wasn’t the best idea Enzio still hasn’t been given the all clear and hopefully he won’t re injure himself. Terry always did his best and interns of fans he was always the first to help and interact his actions on the pitch are always that of a professional. I think we may have shot our selfs in this one.

With Enzio not fit, it doesnt seem a good idea to let him go.

Exactly what I thought.. Enzio is a head of time but you don’t want to rush him back and Terry is perfect to play that role.

I have to admit that I lost my final strew with Alan Hardy after his "small" mistake, yet the signings and a bit of time has seen me settle. My views have changed, provided he focuses on his duties as the owner rather than anything else, I think he deserves respect for having backed every manager he has employed.

It might not always be ideal but he allows them to sign quality players if wanted.
