Two more signings?

There's a rumour going round the mill that suggests Notts are looking to sign two players, one of which has reportedly been unattached for some time but has previously played under Neal Ardley at AFC Wimbledon.

Has anyone on PON heard anything?

I've heard rumours and certain names being mentioned.

It's going to be interesting to see if any of the names I have heard end up signing, one in question makes me wonder why we didn't try harder to get Jamie Turley to agree deals but we will have to wait and see.

I still feel there's RB and Winger/Striker required.

With Tom Crawford departing on loan, it seems remaining seasons are dependant on movement going out.

I am hopeful two strong minded players can come in, as without signings I don't think Neal Ardley can keep this up.

Not sure, Tom Crawford can't be on a lot.

It makes you less optimistic about the quality that could come in. The club already has a large squad of deadwood.

no idea what to expect, i think its likely that any players will have worked under neal ardley before, i dont see why anyone outside of his circle would sign for a struggling club like us.

Too true, i don't think we can survive with the current squad but theres too many on the books as it is.

Fantastic news if the rumour is true .. but I’m thinking they may need departures in order for there to be arrivels. But Crawford has gone out on loan so should free up some funds I’m hoeing they are determined strong willed and ready to get stuck in and help stair the ship the right way.

Neil Cox has been stated as suggesting 4-5 will join, I think him and Ardley have given up on the squad. It's just sending a message to the players which I do disagree with.

I don't think anymore incomings will happen now that Alan Hardy has put the club up for sale.

He may let a few more signings through, because it will help sell the club faster if we are doing better and have something for someone to buy, not just a sinking ship.
