Nott have finally got three points in the league as we have beaten Carlisle. Hemings gets two goal giving him 12 goals of the season one being a penalty his second time in two game. A error from schofeild gave Carlisle hope but Colin’s came up for a free in injury time  county clear the ball and Alexandra runs it through midfield in to an empty net and makes it 3-1 .. job done and  Carlisle are the first team Notts have beaten both home and away

Brilliant result for Notts tonight, but the weekends fixture will have a lot of pressure building, what do you think about the win? Does it give some hope for survival and more importantly, can a run of form be built from here?

Brilliant result for a game i completly forgot about today as been too busy. Finally 3 points, not had many all season. Onwards and i hope its helped the players morale.

finally back to winning ways, i am not impressed with notts bragging about the win. pretty mindless by the current media team who will have angry fans moaning about the tweet. it is stupid tho.

good win, just need to keep our heads.

I wasn't even going to tune in last night but I'm glad I did. I saw a hard-working, committed performance and we by far the better side. Carlisle didn't even threaten until we were 2-0 up. We need to follow it up now though, otherwise it counts for nothing.

Yeah, Notts played better than Carlisle and got the result they deserved.

The squad need to back this performance up with another good showing at home, if they fail to try, some fans will turn again. Strike whilst the iron is hot and get people on side. The hopes becoming slimmer but three fantastic points here.
