  1. Great news, whether or not Jodi deserves it, it doesn’t matter because the league has awarded it to him and that is all that matters.
  2. At present, it is still early in the season, but things are looking up for Notts and the journey continues. I believe we should fare well against Tranmere Rovers. It should be a close match, but Notts should be able to overcome the game with minimal fuss. I would like to see us climb to around 5th place and remain in touch with the teams above. The players are showing signs that they are adapting, so right now we are firmly looking forward. However, just as the outcome looked disappointing after Sutton, things can quickly change and we need to avoid that.
  3. Hahaha, @Chris, that is hilariously funny!
  4. David McGoldrick performed well in the first half. We shouldn't have persistently sent hopeless balls to him, and I agree that when he had the ball at his feet, he did well. He drew fouls, sometimes without them being awarded, and his yellow card was a foolish move on his part, knowing that cards were being given.
  5. Adam isn't bad; he just needs time. I think he's more down to earth than the larger-than-life Charlie. I do miss Charlie, despite his occasional arrogance. It's a form of confidence, and he does seem pleasant enough in person, but we should give Adam time. As for the other person, he's fantastic and sounds like a true sports commentator. His post-match interviews are excellent, much better than Charlie Slater, who wanted to be too friendly with the players instead of pursuing a good story.
  6. You've done well to find some talent in that dreadful squad. I thought they were awful.
  7. I'm pleased that Langstaff has scored now. Getting a brace is a special achievement, and this new deal would have given him and the players a boost. I don't think Notts will easily lose him; I believe he sees that we can progress and get promoted. The most important thing is that he's content here, and that will reflect in his football.
  8. What size did your grandson end up obtaining? It's great that you got it sorted out. Well done for not complaining. Many other people would have made quite a mess of this experience, and although I feel there's room for annoyance, I don't think it should result in anything more than pointing out the mistake. That's the best way to learn.
  9. Quality management from Luke Williams. The tactical changes he implemented were spot on. It's also refreshing to see a manager commend the efforts of individual players. Langstaff was indeed on fire and deserves the recognition.
  10. One notable trait of this match was Notts resilience and the ability to wither Doncaster Rovers' early pressing attempts. The momentum gradually shifted in favour of Notts after Macaulay Langstaff’s goal. Credit has to be given to the team for not buckling under pressure and taking their chances when they appeared. The tactics obviously worked well and provided the team with a morale-boosting victory. Good write up!
  11. Fantastic vlog! Loved the energy and spirit of the fans throughout the match.
  12. This was an enlightening interview with John Bostock, speaking highly of his time at Doncaster Rovers but making it clear he's all for Notts County now. What spoke volumes to me was his ability to keep professionalism at the forefront, showing respect for the Doncaster fans yet not shying away from his current commitment to Notts County. That's the spirit of competition, isn't it? Former allegiances aside when it's game time.
  13. Praying for an early knockout goal! Let's have it, lads!
  14. It's Bostock's driven and never-give-up attitude that sets him apart. We need more of that spirit in the team. Here's to weathering the storm together and coming out stronger.
  15. Managerial words that strike the right chords. Identifying where we can improve, working on it, and valuing the fans for their support. Let's translate these insights into actions on the pitch, shall we?
  16. Queens Park Rangers 2-2 Ipswich Town Sheffield Wednesday 1-2 Preston North End Cambridge United 1-0 Bristol Rovers Carlisle United 0-1 Exeter City Joker Grimsby Town 2-1 Mansfield Town Sutton United 0-0 AFC Wimbledon Rochdale 0-1 Eastleigh Wealdstone 3-1 AFC Fylde
  17. I find it hard to believe how short-sighted some fans can be, both on social media and at live games. Criticising Aidan Baldwin and Kyle Cameron is counterproductive and reminds me of how Harry Maguire was treated at Manchester United. Instead of starting a hate campaign, we should encourage and support our players.

  22. Notts County is beginning to resemble the team we are familiar with. Morecambe is now facing intense pressure and is retreating defensively. The required quality is evident. Notts should exercise patience when taking shots at goal. I believe if we manage to score within the next 10 minutes, another goal could potentially follow. We must, however, remain cautious of their counter-attacks.
  23. There's no resentment towards him or Wrexham; Tshimanga deserved the opportunity, and I still believe he could excel at a higher level with the right team. I had anticipated he would thrive at Peterborough, but the club seems to be less organized than in previous seasons. He is by no means responsible for their inconsistency or unsuccessful promotion bid.
  24. It's always unfortunate to witness one of our players sidelined for an extended period, but it's reassuring to know that the Reedtz and the club are committed to taking care of him. There was a period when we seemed to offload injured players hastily, just as we took chances on signing them.
  25. I don't believe I've ever witnessed the KOP being so upbeat and vociferous in my lifetime. It was an absolute delight to observe Notts in action, rallying to turn the game around with the entire crowd in the stands and the players on the field working collectively to secure those three points. Grimsby proved to be a formidable team and presented challenges, and while we did contribute to the difficulties at times, our performance in the second 45 minutes was outstanding.
