  1. The ups and downs of these teams remind us that nothing is certain in football. It’s a game full of surprises and anything can happen on any given day.
  2. Great news! I am pleased that we have the keeper position sorted. If Luke Williams plans to bring in another, do be it. Yet I think Sam Slocombe is good enough to keep the first place in the team.
  3. Welcome to PON, @two for joy.
  4. Welcome to PON, @BlackandWhitePie.
  5. It feels like we've been here before. The boredom is strong as we face the same old games this season. We enjoyed a nice change last time, playing teams like Basford United and Hucknall Town. But now it's back to the same dull matches, and it's starting to get a bit boring.
  6. Plymouth will want to spend more wisely on their team. They are being linked because of their promotion, not because they are interested. People in the know are writing false reports. I don’t think Ipswich will make an offer for him either. As for Wrexham, well…
  7. Ruben enjoyed the homecoming and was in high spirits. Once you experience promotion with a special group of players, you want to do it again. I don’t think he will leave this season. He will probably wait to see if Notts can reach League One.
  8. I think Notts is trying to attract more fans to Meadow Lane ahead of the new season, which could prove to be a masterstroke on their part. I hope they find another good club to play against at home.
  9. Congratulations on the arrival of your newborn and for choosing such a wonderful name! Running past defenders, scoring one or two, he looks good, he looks fine. Maca Langstaff’s on my mind and he’s County’s number 9. ????
  10. Luke Williams has done a great job promoting Notts County on the news. He is helping the team get more attention and fans. His work shows how much he loves the club. This is good for the local community, fans, and players. Congratulations to Luke Williams!
  11. It is certainly disheartening to learn that a member has passed away and no one was aware of it. However, in such a sombre situation, it is important to reflect on the positive. Who r ya!! may have left this world, but we can still commemorate their memory in a respectful manner. Although it may be difficult to come to terms with their passing, it is essential that we pay tribute to Who r ya!! in a befitting manner. We can remember them fondly and celebrate the impact they had on our lives, with a respectful memorial service. This would be a fitting way to honour their legacy and ensure that they receive the tribute they deserve. Rest in Peace, Who r ya!!, your passing is a great loss, but your memory will continue to inspire us.
  12. I wake up at 6:15 in the morning to prepare for college. After getting ready, I have breakfast and organised my bag before leaving to catch the bus. I made a few posts on here earlier, prior to starting college.
  13. Jodi Jones is an exceptional player with the ability to alter the course of a game in a single moment. His flair and creativity on the pitch are unparalleled, and he has a knack for scoring breathtaking goals. During his loan spell, he was widely regarded as one of the league's top performers. I am thrilled that he has now signed with the club on a permanent basis.
  14. Jodi Jones is a gem of a player who can change the game in an instant. He’s got a lot of flair and creativity and he can score some spectacular goals. He was one of the best players in the league during his loan spell and I’m over the moon that he’s signed for Notts County permanently.
  15. I was disappointed that Frank Vincent left the team as I think it'll be difficult to get two new midfielders to replace Matt Palmed and John Bostock. Ed needs to bulk up a bit as he's currently quite slim. On the other hand, Frank was a different type of player and added diversity to the team. I am optimistic that our key players will renew their contracts and I hope Jodi Jones sticks with us. Overall, I am content with Luke Williams' decisions and selections.
  16. From what I see, he's still talking to Notts on social media, which could mean he may sign with us. However, Jodi Jones seems to be in high demand by many clubs, including us. This means other clubs may make better offers we can't match, making it hard to get him. We need to be careful and realistic about our chances, and understand what we can do about it.
  17. I must admit that I do not view Forest as a significant threat, nor do I believe that they constitute a strong rivalry. The infrequency of our matches against them has not allowed for the formation of a genuine rivalry, and their overall performances have not posed a significant opposition. Nonetheless, we must remain focused on our team's goals and strive for success regardless of the opponent we face.
  18. It is truly heartening to see the owners share an optimistic outlook on the upcoming season while also reflecting on the past campaign. Just like their players, they too deserve a well-earned break from their responsibilities at Notts. We all eagerly anticipate what the next season will bring and wish them the best of luck.
  19. I am firmly convinced that Luke Williams will not be enticed to leave our team for Reading. In my opinion, it would require a club in a more favourable position to lure him away. Despite Reading's status, I believe that Williams is committed to our club and it would take a truly exceptional offer to cause him to reconsider his future here. His loyalty and dedication to our team's growth are evident, and I have great faith in his continued presence with us.
  20. Welcome to the site and PON.
  21. I’m looking forward to listening to this soon and finding out if it’s worth my time or not. I hope it’s as entertaining and informative as the videos that the club produces, but just in an audio format.
  22. The team has shown that they can compete with the best, and they have the potential to finish in a strong position. Notts has consistently delivered outstanding performances on the field, showing incredible skill and determination. With their talent and dedication, they have what it takes to secure a strong finish and compete with the best.
  23. Luke Williams is a significant improvement in terms of management. It’s clear that he values building strong relationships with the players, which must help motivate them to go the extra mile to win games. All the players seem to respect him - even John Bostock has praised Williams’ management style, saying it’s the best he’s experienced in his career. That’s high praise! I think Williams has done an excellent job so far, but the real test will be in League Two. The coaching staff needs to keep up their hard work and research the opposition well - it will pay off.
  24. Sam Pearson looks like a solid player. I’ve seen some fans on social media complaining that he doesn’t have many goals to his name, but that could change at Notts! Even if he’s more of a playmaker, I still think he would be a good signing. It might not happen, so complaining about his lack of goals seems silly to me.
  25. Ross Fitzsimons is terrible. He has a chip on his shoulder and acts like a sulky teenager throwing a tantrum. He really cost Chesterfield the game at Wembley.
