  1. I believe our chances of finishing first in the league at this point are slim. Much like signing of Forest's good unused players. We might attract a quality player from the Championship, but any available top-tier players will likely be in high demand, making it challenging for us to secure their services.
  2. I think many fans tend to overreact, but that doesn’t negate our poor defensive performance. I can’t take calls for Luke Williams’ dismissal seriously, but those who are demanding improvements and expecting them to come from the defence have valid points.
  3. I believe we need to support our current players and trust they will improve through training and hard work. If we could secure a victory away from home, I think it would significantly alter the downturn we’re currently experiencing.
  4. Lewis MaCari is a promising addition, I hope he returns soon from whatever is holding him back and demonstrates how he can contribute to our progress.
  5. I agree, at times it’s necessary for the players to express their thoughts, hoping it resonates not only with the media but also with us, the fans. Despite our poor form, no one should shy away or feel disheartened from speaking out simply because we lost a match.
  6. Williams hit the nail on the head with his remarks. If we don't up our courage in play, we're going to struggle. Let's rally behind him and seize the remainder of the season.
  7. Williams' statement 'one-nil up is not job done' should be etched in every player's mind. The team needs to retain the same intensity throughout the game. I echo his sentiment about not being complacent after scoring.
  8. Walsall may not be the team they once were, but we still need to maintain discipline to dominate the match. If we can exhaust them, the game should become more open, and that’s when we can really build some strong momentum. Come on you Pies!
  9. Investigate that defender for potential match-fixing, it’s quite suspicious! I refuse to believe it was a mere blunder. Not at all!
  10. We could pool our resources and make a donation periodically. I believe this would be the most effective way to offer support here.
  11. This match promises to be a cracker! Hope Langstaff manages to keep up his hot scoring streak. Also looking forward to the performance of Crowley and Bostock. COYP!
  12. Rest in Peace Shane McGowan. I don’t know much about him other than his popular Christmas song which took many months to produce. I learned about how they spent time perfecting it, as he wanted to write the best Christmas song.
  13. It’s the defenders making mistakes that cost us, but a lot of it comes from the tactics and how we approach games. I don’t constantly blame the defenders for what happens and I can let it go. Aden Baldwin got a lot of criticism going into the Bromley game and when he made a mistake in the first half, people took to Twitter. Some of the same people praised him for his winning goal. ????????‍♂️
  14. The FA/Premier League and EFL need to ensure that football assets, like training pitches and grounds, need approval to be sold outside of the club’s facilities as part of their licensing. Many clubs are building new grounds on land they own, even lower than the National League North and South. I’d prefer the club to own everything outright. Whatever stops the council from selling the land should give some relief to those who worry a bad owner will sell it.
  15. Welcome to PON @Callumpie. Hello from me. ????????
  16. Welcome to PON @Samuel Morris. Hello from me. ????????
  17. Welcome to PON @JOHN BOND. Hello from me. ????????
  18. Williams' approach of individualising training sessions is commendable. It's crucial to recognise and cater to each player's unique strengths which will undoubtedly aid in their development.
  19. I could defend better even if I were blindfolded, but I might also score the occasional own goal. I don’t think we should continue to be hard on it, let’s have a laugh and a joke. Let’s just support the players.
  20. James Sanderson, the future Jack Grealish of Notts County. I wish him all the best as he strives to improve and get ready for the first team.
  21. You can’t push a goalkeeper, that’s a foul any day of the week, no matter how lightly the goalkeeper went down. To me, it looks like a foul. You can’t even pull on a goalkeeper’s shirt during a corner kick, etc. Quite rightly so, this shouldn’t be allowed.
  22. Ever since I rediscovered PON, I haven’t looked back. The previous call to action prompted me to join, and a wave of members did the same. It was pleasant, and it would be nice to see some of these fans give PON another chance. The site can only grow with the contribution of others. For those who are not registered, I would say, dive in. Introduce yourself, relax, and be welcomed by many friendly and considerate fans. Start by posting once or twice a day, take a break, but when you return, check your notifications and start participating again. It’s a great community, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
