  1. Hello, @Zski. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. ????????
  2. Welcome! Hope you settle in well and enjoy the site, @BlackandWhitePie.
  3. I thought Aaron Collins showed some potential, he just needed more playing time. It wouldn't surprise me if Wrexham is considering him for the striker position given his Welsh background and good performances for his past team.
  4. A warm welcome to @Bee, happy to have you on board with us!
  5. Hi @Stuart McNeil, welcome to our group! Can't wait to get to know you!
  6. Welcome to our community, @HarryNCFC0! We're glad to have you here!
  7. This is great! Football is for everyone. No team is more important than its supporters. A little kindness can make a big difference. I hope England does the same.
  8. I have read PON for years. I didn’t read it every day, but I came back when I saw @Fan of Big Tone was back. Things change and sometimes what made you upset goes away. But you think people still remember. I am happy to be posting again. I don’t think anyone missed me, but I am glad to be part of the group.
  9. Welcome to Pride of Nottingham, @Ohh Tommy Johnson. You will like it here once you get used to it.
  10. I don’t like it when fans of a team suffer. I hope Wigan finds a way to move forward. They used to play in the Premier League and did well. But since then things have gone downhill. It makes you wonder if being in the Premier League is worth it.
  11. Is this because of COVID? Many teams are having a hard time. Could they not just use volunteers to play?
  12. Born and brought up in Nottingham, I'm too young to make my own decisions, but I'm not far from being able to relocate, which I likely will do once college is completed. It all depends on where I can find employment.
  13. Joel Taylor's goal from the video and their list of videos by Notts is undoubtedly the finest goal, only surpassed by John Bostock's against Wrexham.
  14. You couldn't fabricate any of this; it's a complete debacle. Said the Nottingham Live editor. ????
  15. This is a huge boost for Notts County. Jodi Jones is an incredible player who can add a lot of value to our team with his passes and runs. He was sensational during his loan spell and I’m glad he’s staying with us for longer. He’s got a lot of speed and trickery and he’ll be a key player for us.
  16. I don’t have any plans for today. I’ll spend a few hours cleaning my room and maybe play some games on my PS5. I don’t have any plans for tomorrow either. With college, I like to take it easy on weekends.
  17. I’m confident that Jodi Jones will sign with us. @KingWilliams and I spoke to him after the Boreham Wood game. He was in a hurry because of the long day, but he mentioned that he likes it at Notts. I think he’ll be offered a 2 or 3-year contract.
  18. I agree with the retained list. Luke Williams made the right decision. While I wish Ed Francis and Frank Vincent all the best and have enjoyed watching them play for Notts, I think we need midfielders who can challenge Matt Palmer and John Bostock. Vincent and Francis don’t bring anything new or better to the team.
  19. I’ve watched Team Talk before. It’s difficult to keep up with it when there are more mainstream channels that take priority, but I should make an effort to watch it more often. It’s not a bad show, it just needs a few tweaks.
  20. It’s great to see the forum thriving. PON is the go-to place for engaging in sensible discussions. I’m grateful for the warm welcome back. We’ve been keeping up with the forum without logging in, but now feels like the right time to get involved again and I’m excited about that.
  21. Welcome @CountyFan2105. ???????? Be sure to join in when you can.????????????
  22. Just to add to what @KingWilliams said, we both feel that we may have overreacted a bit when we were younger. We never meant to cause any drama. King and I grew up with the Pride of Nottingham as our main source of news about Notts County. It's a fun place to be, but the comment mentioned made us feel like we weren't being taken seriously. We don't want to dwell on that. We just ask that you treat us with the same respect that we give. We know that the community is run by fantastic people and we're looking forward to getting to know members better.
  23. Have to go for another back to back win, keep pressure on the teams around and hope Barrow slip up.
  24. Very good game, Aldershot looked good on the ball but awful where it mattered. I thought they would stun us but managed to hang in there. Grew in confidence once Roberts found the back of the net.
