Don't take much stock in friendlies, necessary evil imo, just hope for no injuries

Notts County’s future prospects
At my age I would like to see Notts fly up the league's to the top table so I can relive us being there :). Realistically I think league one is about the aim at the moment. Would take some major investment to compete any higher and you can be in big trouble if that investment is suddenly pulled. Happy to be back in the league but really hope younger Notts fans can eventually see the club at the top.

Carabao Cup 1st round fixture announced
Good draw.

The Ashes
Have to say I much prefer 20 20 cricket, much more watchable. I find sitting and watching test cricket very boring after a while. Nothing wrong with it I might add, just not my cup of tea.

Holidays
Recently had a week with some of my family, grandkids etc in Great Yarmouth. Next holiday will be in Oct/Nov for 2 weeks in Florida. Been a few times, great place to visit. This was booked and paid for prior to Covid so it's a catch up holiday. Got put off for travel reasons, then myself and the wife had a rough time with the Indian variant so this is the first opportunity.

Darren Moore and Gary O'neil - Sacked.
Watford in my opinion have turned into a bit of a laughing stock with such a process. Personally I would love to manage them for 4 games for 18 month's pay.

Darren Moore and Gary O'neil - Sacked.
Maybe, the Wednesday owner is not well known for wanting to invest. I work with many Wednesday fans and none have a good word for the owner, and strangely a few are happy Moore has gone.

Some of my friends seem to think it is over disagreement on budget. But personally I have no idea

Reedtz Brothers Era "Feels like a good dream"
I have the utmost respect for them, not because they have taken back to the football league but because of the way the club is now run properly, within our means. We all want to be as high up and successful as possible but the most important thing is Notts are around for years to come. Some clubs are run on a wing and a prayer, with many, I predict, folding in the next 10 years.

Music Matters
He never really got the credit he deserved over here for some reason. I have most of his albums, including the brilliant songbook which has quite a few not so well known songs. There is an album due to be released in July, already ordered:)

Music Matters
Just like to add, as well as listening to music I also enjoy playing it. I play lots of stringed instruments and the keyboard, though I'm not particularly good at any of them. Very enjoyable.
