The win is more than enough for fans to be happy with, I am pleased Jon Stead sunk the penalty so well. The Macclesfield keeper had no chance!

The difference between now and when Harry Kewell first took over is strikingly different, you wouldn't believe its the same time. It reminds me of when Kevin Nolan first came to Notts. I just hope Kewell keeps thinking but the 3-1 win was impressive. I felt sorry for Ross Fitzsimons for conceding the goal.

If Notts can score early, I think the confidence will grown and this could be the game where we finally thrash someone. I can see it coming!

It feels like that corner has turned which will allow the club to go on a straight path from here, the draw is a good result. Anyway you look at it the positives are there, so I feel the squad has done well and deserve the praise handed out. I just hope Fitzsimons keeps it up.

The players have to put the recent performances behind them and focus on playing football, they need to be enjoying it. I am hoping for the best outcome.

The way Notts deal with threats and coping with pressure is a joke. You need to see better but Harry Kewell being sent off isn't acceptable, he's required by the touchline and it shows poor discipline on his behalf.
